FVA was only designed with single player in mind but F12011 was design to a whole different group of racers (consolers $$$$$$$$$$), if i went with no assists there would be very little people taking part, for Korea i will ban assists for that round only as a test... if people like it then it will stick to that, as for policing it i will only allow screen shots from the leaderboard.

Just for clarification, inam and I have been messaging each other ingame over games for windows live and discussing good car setup options whilst avoiding 11/11 suspension. So this is 11/11 downforce he's talking about, not suspension settings. ;)
 
Does it really make that much of a different? I just go to race straight away all the time.

Can you have custom car setup on time trial?

I use stock setups because I literally don't have the time to fiddle around all day - sure you might squeeze a few tenths out of a custom setup but it's only a game. :)

However the 11/11 bug is just a joke, push sliders up and bang you gain 4-5 seconds a lap!?

So if you set the suspension up 11/11 it will automatically stop you, or will it ban the lap after its done?

Some of the corners I cut seem to not give me penalties, whereas some I fly over no worries and get away with it. Seems very 'all over the place' at the moment.

I think a patch is needed. Also DX11 mode crashes to desktop when at loading screens. Not that it looks any different at all in DX9 mode :confused:

11/11 sus setup is banned for these time trials, but otherwise nothing is stopping you
 
Oh come on... it's just a rule for this time trial thread. Of course you can physically set the suspension to 11/11, but in the name of good fun and fair play Mr. Fantastic has requested people not use it.

Im losing time in the first corner for some reason :confused: probably down to not nailing the right entry point with the speed increase of KERS and DRS.
 
inam22 are you also using a high downforce setting like 11 on each wing ? I was just leaving the suspension at 6/6 and adjusting the ride hight to 1, I'll give 10/10 suspension a go when i get home from uni tonight. Stunning time by the way!.
