Im running at 1080p its smooth but has the occasional FPS drop which is a pain in the rear....

The first enemy I came across outside was a raider in power armour using a fatman, luckily he missed his only shot and I managed wear him down and kill him.

my 290 is pretty heavily overclocked, core and memory wisebut it isn't half heating it up - about hottest I've seen it in a game @ 84C

Right managed an good hour last night and I only have two niggles so far...
Using the terminals in vault 111 leads to graphical glitches and complete loss of keyboard movement - very annoying. I find a lot of quick saving helps. Any solution to this, I can't go on avoiding terminals! I haven't tried any outside yet.
The second minor annoyance is that I keep using stimpacks intentionally, I keep hitting the 0 key on my numpadYou can't rebind that key, can you?
Apart from that, I'm loving it!
Will limiting fps stop this then? I thought it only happened in the vault but it's just happened again at the Red Rocket shop... very annoying! Good job I haven't gone too far
I've trained my fingers not to go near the '0' key, unless they really have too.

My problem is that I want to run everything on ultra I need my crossfire to be working to do that but God Ray's disabled and turned down shadows seems to run fairly well

I'm playing in 3440x1440 and the green background seems to be incorrectly positioned. (I also changed the FOV)
I am. But then again I guess that's the issue with this Res. Bigger issue with this format is in the Power Armour which uses its own HUD. Everything is positioned as if its 2560 x 1440

I disabled it immediately and have yet to encounter and bugs relating to it
hehe lucky you i've lost my arms on a terminal right after killing an unlikely enemy was so annoyed that i had to do it again. still finding this game so much easier than FO3 due to being able to headshot things
84C is nothing to be worried about. I would say that's rather good for a 290.
its a 290 Tri-X - the cooling on it is pretty good
84C is at +69mV - VRMs get hot though

Enjoying it so far, I am dying a lot though. Even a few bloatflies got the better of me. Think I need to start crafting some better armour.

I'm still trying to work out the crafting system. Can't seem to 'make' anything, only improve on it. And yea, I'm starting to feel really under powered now. Only got a few weak handguns and a couple of rifles. Not enough ammo for the rifles either.
6hours later of giving it a good run, and didn't even realise i had been on it that long.
Got lost somewhere found some big dude, killed a big dude, got lost some more and rinse and repeated for 6hours haha not really touched the main story at all.

. Managed to get killed by a radroach after running out of ammo and being unable to find the bash key.Done some of the main story but mainly just searching around. Trying to find and craft things, well get used to the system anyway. Managed to unlock a few things with bobby pins, found some weapons, armour and ammo like a double barrel shotgun which is awesome. Last half hour then to bed

Only things I've found that can be created from scratch are:
- Grenedes/Mines
- Mixed Drugs
- Food Items
- Healing Items
Need to give it some more attention but have been finding decent armour from quests and raiders then upgrading them as I've seen fit, might be possible to make more stuff from the perk tree (not looked at that much either). Need to have a quick blast through my VDSG for some of the stuff, didn't seem to be many tutorials on how to craft and build stuff, including the towns.
On a good note, 11 hours playtime, 1 crash on my first load up, running ultra with a GTX 680, some dips here and there but has run so smooth all day where my mate has been having crashes every hour.

this game gna run ok on my 144hz monitor? heard a few problems with high refresh rate monitors, rest of pc is 6700k 980ti 16 gig ram
Getting seriously ****ed off with the Chaurus, I mean Mirelurk hunters. Massive hp, poison you, loads of armour, move quick. Hate them!
I've made peace with the crap story and dialogue and I'm totally engrossed in the game.
PS. Weapons disappearing when sheathed. That's just lazy.
