It's my first time on a fallout game, the thing that I find fardel is the different armour, there needs to be more information about the different items that you can wear. I change to what I think is a better item, only to see my stats have gone down. Haven't used the power suit much tbh

The one review site I trust gave it a good score so I've bought and downloaded it this morning but now have to go to work. 
The inventory system is woeful if I'm honest. It's so bad, you can't even sort by item type. So I now simply end up going through and just seeing if anything has a '+' to any of the stats and then wear it.

I've had no end of trouble with the terminal bug. Had to set the iPresentInterval=0, set my desktop to 60Hz, disable SLI and GSYNC to get rid of it. There is noticeable micro stutter without GSYNC, but it's playable.
Having fun with the game when it's working though, although I didn't get very far in the end last night. I hope they get the drivers and GSYNC sorted out soon.

Hey if they bought it then have every right to complain about whatever they want.
The games fine for me except a couple of bugs but I am a little disappointed that graphically it's not a massive improvement over Fallout 3.
Some of the textures are just horrible
Ah well looks like it's gonna be left to the modding community to fix it again.Btw "This. Like EVERY other game they have released will require a few tweaks, deal with it." That's not a good thing
You'd think they'd get it right eventually.

Hey, had the same issue as you although slightly different spec. i was around 33 never going higher than 40. played around wtih some config, went to 10 config which was even better -.-
Anyways once i sorted the typo i made in my config i was back to 144fps normal and 100 fps in dense areas on ultra settings @1440p
Changes i made in the falloutpref ini file.
pov to 90
iPresentInterval=0 (uncaps fps)
Oh and also playing fullscreen instead of windowed helped me get my normal fps.

I managed to make some headway in the minutemen questline. I'm simply too underpowered to continue though. As I'm rushing in, killing the men required then rushing out. So not really 'scavenging'. Then the inventory system has me sulking as it's so bad. It's just a cluster**** of mess.
In terms of quests, not sure what to do really, I could head into the city but at the moment, I fear I'll just run into a bunch of bandits and not know what to do.
The whole settlement thing, crafting really is NOT my cup of tea. I want to play a game, not play musical bloody chairs. As a result, I feel like I'm being penalised.
Apart from that, really enjoying the atmosphere. Apart from every 5 seconds something wants to kill me lol.

Maybe if you have all the graphics turned down. But not once have I felt the graphics were out dated. Apart from the bug on some textures such as up in the quarry lol.

Haha, sneaky. I've gotten about 6 hours in so far. But something is missing, I've finally got my self a sniper rifle (all be it, with a hand full of rounds so I'm using it sparingly). My pistols are ok. My armour is weak. I'm tempted to start again...

The game has forced me to care about the fact that his wife got shot and his baby kidnapped.
TBH I don't give a hoot! I didn't even know the character. The character was worthless and forgettable. The fact the game is centered and rooted in something I don't really care about annoys me.

Seems decent to me, so far. 
Pretty much as I expected.
Mostly seems to be let down a little with the UI, inventory management, building.

I feel the exact same, I'll still play the game but the graphics are a let down, in some places it's pretty and in others it's pretty shoddy.
I definitely hate the base building though, I don't wanna do any of that just do my own thing but at the same time I don't wanna leave people to die....I hate you Bethesda
