**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

is this worth a buy? the steam reviews are kinda putting me off, what are people on here thinking of it?

Usual betheasda launch bugs. Some of them are pretty bad so be prepared to have to tweak ini files and limit frame rates to get it to work properly. Other then that its very good. Graphics are ok and the gameplay is just like the previous fallout games with some added features like crafting and construction.

Conversely, I've had no crashes, no bugs or glitches. Straight in at 1440p, no tweaking needed other than changing a few settings to make it prettier.

As above it has some issues but about 6 or 7 of my friends are playing this now (as the buggers have more spare time then I do!) and not one of them has said its not worth it.

I cant believe im the only one running around settlements like a hoover with the creation tool open just scrapping everything in sight :D Cant say ive gone far beyone the Red Rocket, im too busy looting and scrapping everything i see :)

BTW quick question if i add loads of junk to the settlement storage does it break them down to their components when im crafting or do i need to manually drop all those items on the floor then scrap each individually?

/Edit cant get that configuration tool downloaded from nexus either, getting an IP error assuming its to do with adblock

Grrr! I've been running round the same interior for over an hour now trying to find something. The place the objective marker is trying to send me to does not exist!

Nope I thought that, you need to drop it on the ground from your pipboy then go into workshop mode and scrap the pile you've just dropped for parts.

Stupid way of having to do it, why it can't auto salvage I do not know.
