I'm only three hours in and bar the dodgy animations and a deathclaw walking through the floor it's been faultless. I let GeForce Experience optimise the settings and it's not dropping any frames for me. Enjoying it so far

3 hours in, no crashes, had a terminal stick when I didn't have capped FPS, but as I have a 60hz monitor, all is well

I think it looks great with the Sweetfx mod too.

No crashes, stutter or lag here & no game-breaking glitches/bugs so pretty happy

Great game.

set a frame limit to 60hz (or change desktop refresh rate to 60hz in windows), then all good

I'm about 5 hours in and put 4 points into every special when I started. Can't help feeling I've messed up future progression so I'm thinking about restarting. I'm only 6 and have put the last 6 points into special again rather than perks

you can put points into special instead of perks? sweet, now I have much less regret.

I've done this...

Disabled VSYNC in INI
Using MSI Afterburner frame rate limiter to 60

Does this work though? I remember doing the same within Skyrim...all seemed fine until I noticed juddering when strafing sideways in front of the wall/scaffolding just outside of Whiterun.

The juddering would only disappear if I re-enabled v-sync

I'm still on the 347.88 driver. Game is fluid 60fps on ultra and no crashes.

Not much help if you're on win10/ti/sli I know.

Weird, game looks absolutely fantastic today. I don't think the textures were loading up properly when I played yesterday.

Setting a 60fps cap seems to have helped things too.

I got 37 bobby pins currently. I put 3 perks into both hacker and lock picker and can get in everything. The 4th upgrade on the lock picker perk is bobby pins not breaking, seems a bit useless as I hardly brake them anyway.

Normal death claws are not that bad, came across a legendary one, was scary. My bullets were not even scratching him

Right I'm gonna build my settlement. I just can't decide on the location though. I quite like The Castle, but Sanctuary already has loads of NPCs.

You don't really have to bother dismantling it, it auto dismantles as you need it.

Just press r to transfer items into the workbench then hit t to auto store junk.

Sooooooo, I'm in a weird place. No main story spoilers, but here is a side mission, any help would be awesome

So, I stumbled upon a town full of robots, with a 'director' robot in a tower. I've been to all but one building (biggest building) and still not found an ID card. I can't bluff to him as my charisma isn't high enough. Should I come back or just take him out from afar? I've got a fat man but kind of can't be bothered to take out all the minions as well...

Despite all the shops trying to kill me and me having to kill the demo models, boxer and the bloody cooks lol

Ultimate facepalm... I've messed up my perks, I assumed you had to pick the perk above to unlock the below... Nope, you can pick ones unlocked from the top. Then level up the top perk to unlock the lower ones.

SOOOOOOOOO, I've got about 6 perks wasted right now.

Yeah, I made the same assumption. Luckily I don't feel the perks I spent were that bad.

That's the game uninstalled. 4 crashes to desktop since I started playing at 5pm.

How games like this somehow get a free pass by players is beyond me. Not only does it look crap and run on a garbage engine. It's riddled with bugs, some bugs which were present in Skyrim.

I've not even gone into detail about the laughable cutscenes when you talk to someone.

It's just a poorly created, poor looking game that if it carried any other name other than Fallout it would have been panned by many.

Shame I can't get my money back as I would in an instant.

On my rig, like Project Cars, this is a game that will crash with a GPU overclock. If you're running an overclock, might be worth trying with it off.
