**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Sooooooo, I'm in a weird place. No main story spoilers, but here is a side mission, any help would be awesome :D

So, I stumbled upon a town full of robots, with a 'director' robot in a tower. I've been to all but one building (biggest building) and still not found an ID card. I can't bluff to him as my charisma isn't high enough. Should I come back or just take him out from afar? I've got a fat man but kind of can't be bothered to take out all the minions as well...

Despite all the shops trying to kill me and me having to kill the demo models, boxer and the bloody cooks lol

Ultimate facepalm... I've messed up my perks, I assumed you had to pick the perk above to unlock the below... Nope, you can pick ones unlocked from the top. Then level up the top perk to unlock the lower ones.

SOOOOOOOOO, I've got about 6 perks wasted right now.
I don't understand what you've wasted here? Or what perk you're referring to? I'm at exactly the same place and having fought one of them and getting killed by another, I'm out. I'll come back later when I'm a bit tougher.

I don't know what it is but I'm not enjoying Fallout 4. This is my first stab at a fallout game.

I'm level 7 so early days but I'm struggling to enjoy it.

I played Witcher3 on PS4 and enjoyed that, I thought I would this RPG game also.

How are you playing? Getting sidetracked, or going straight down the main mission route? I find it takes a good balance of both. It's very open so easy to get wasted if you dont do sidestuff i.e. level up. On the other hand, if you rely on random stuff too much you may feel there's a lack of purpose.

Fallout just killed my pc, i mentioned earlier that i noticed my cpu running abit warmer than normal. Tried to underclock it in bios and it wouldnt clock down. Reset the cmos now ive lost half my ram and cant change cpu multiplier past 37. Ah well....

About 10 hours here no crashes runs great @ 4k Ultra.

I just realised halfway through level 6 that I could equip all the arm, leg, chest etc. along with a full outfit so to speak. Now look 10 times better and have a much much higher DT (if thats what its called cant remember). Was getting killed very easily, not so much now! Found a weapon with a Star next to it I assume its a special weapon shame its a melee. I've got it on me i ncase of emergency it has 20% chance to cripple legs.

Hey guys did anyone update their Nvidia GPU drivers for the realise of Fallout 4? If so did it go all smoothly? Just wondering as I noticed it on the website the pre realise driver.

Hope everyone's enjoying the game! I am, just a bit frustrated with the FPS drop in the first major town you come to. (Sorry can't recall the name but looks almost like a power station)

I haven't got past that point yet but read it's even worse when you get to other major towns or cities.

I'm not the only one with the issue but I'd of assumed my RIG was good enough to keep at 60 fps @ 1440.

I have the latest Nvidia drivers according to GFE. 358.91 running great.
