**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

So I went to this mine/quarry place, awesome level, went right to the bottom, cleared out all the bandits/ghouls. Found a funky weapon or three. But its not marked as "cleared" does that mean I have missed something or does everything not get marked cleared?

Things will respawn eventually there and in plenty of other locations. Stuff that's clear will in some cases lose the tag when enemies respawn.

When do RadStorms start? Been playing for about 24 hours and haven't had a single radstorm yet. In fact, it's only rained twice for me so far...

I think at any time. I only played for a couple of hours when I got the first rad storm. Middle of no where lol. I was like

I never get any respawning,So what are you on about? ! ? !

if you play a really long session things show as cleared on the map when you have cleared an area out

if you switch off and come back to your PC at a later time they will eventually repopulate areas with bandits and super mutants

such as the corvega factory early on, when you do the mission and kill them all it will show as cleared
come back to it a couple of days later and the map no longer displays it a s cleared and the bad guys have taken it over again

its a way of making sure you always have something to shoot and scavenge

Not sure if it's been mentioned already or not, but people on reddit reporting decent performance increase with latest Nvidia drivers 359.00 released yesterday.

Is it just me or is once the main story is complete all interest is lost? I done a lot of side quests etc while doing the main story to draw it out but after hitting the end I have no motivation to play anymore. Kinda said about it but I'm surprised I stuck this one out tbh, fallout 3 bored me from the start and with NV I got like two quests from the end and was so bored of it.

Definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

If previous fallout games bored you, then future ones probably will as well, when their are so many good games on the horizon or out already theirs no need to waste time on something your not going to enjoy.

Yep this. At some of the larger locations things respawn. One of the reason why I am level 70 now only 5 missions in on the main campaign :p Usually at the locations they respawn leveled enemies will also respawn, so often the stronger variants.

Usually you don't even have to turn the PC off, within a 4-5 hour session or so, I usually have sites re spawn the enemies.

Not read the whole thread...but a friend of fine just showed me something he built in his settlement...

It's literally, a massive bridge, between two buildings.....Why the hell does the game ALLOW you to do this? You would think it would stop you then make you put support beams in or something? =/

This is Outrageous!!!

Just found the Silver Shroud quest line, really enjoyed being some rubbish knock off Green Hornet / Shadow

I'll give that Mod a try later, I really want to be able to run this @ 4k.

I find it pretty funny how you can have massive structures basically hovering in the air, breaks immersion a bit but you can build them to look "right" if you want.

I just found it a bit ludicrous, particularly in this day and age when physics has been around for a decade.

I guess I expected more :p

Yeah, I just figured if you tried to build a wood floor out by two panels with nothing below it, it just wouldn't let you.

Doesn't sound like your type of game to keep playing! As long as you've got your money worth out of it doing what you have, it doesn't grip everyone unfortunately. :)

Have you tried just wandering off and seeing the world?

Tell that to Minecraft! :p
