**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

When do RadStorms start? Been playing for about 24 hours and haven't had a single radstorm yet. In fact, it's only rained twice for me so far...

Well I'm level 25 about 15-18 hours in and I have had 2 storms the first time I was attacking a super mutant camp and I was thinking is this some sort of new weapon that there using they only seem to last a few minutes.

I find it pretty funny how you can have massive structures basically hovering in the air, breaks immersion a bit but you can build them to look "right" if you want.

They allow you to build in mid air so you can have buildings on struts etc if you so choose. The whole build feature is just a sandbox for people to have fun, not really a sim city clone.

Personally I think the system they put in is awful, but the idea is cool I can't wait for mods to improve it.

Doesn't sound like your type of game to keep playing! As long as you've got your money worth out of it doing what you have, it doesn't grip everyone unfortunately. :)

Have you tried just wandering off and seeing the world?

I actually explored pretty much the entire map before getting anywhere in the main story. It's actually why I had such an issue doling the story, accidentally killed an NPC that turned out to be a step on one of the main quests and I couldn't progress.

I had a save from near the top of Back Bay and was doing some ugrids testing.

Looking north from building I was all :D at the scenery of the infrastructure

Looking south gave me :( due to how barren it looked

I have been using pistols all through the game but I found a pretty good sniper rifle that I have been trying for a bit... I have to say it is really annoying how the character doesn't look down the scope during vats. He just points it in the direction.

Don't even get to see the animations in vats.... Then moment u select your targets I just press tab and everything dies.. :)

The traders can be a big help but unless your allied settlement population ties into the endgame in a way I haven't seen because I haven't got there it doesn't seem to make an iota of difference except as an aside.

Built a couple of shops, assigned a women to one and shes buggered off......:p

This is what I wondered. SLI might work using that fix but it hasnt been optimised by Nvidia

There a few ways and yes not guaranteed to work. For instance alternate frame rendering 2 works with some but not all, that way actually runs worse for me. There is some definate increase for me both method 1 and 2 yeild the same fps. Not a huge amount as both cards are running at about 70-75%. But saying that 1440p high-ultra settings and can now cap to 100hz so its nice and smooth :).

Just something for people with SLI to try, hopefully it will work. But yeah we need a propper optimised profile from nvidia. when that will happen, its bethesda. One can only hope
