**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

You could say the same about pretty much every multi platform game, there are tons of niggly little things when they come to PC that are designed around a console and the developers don't bother to change for PC, Bethesda won't do shit sadly, like most devs.

I'm hoping that they aren't greedy people doing an inferior job because they're contemptuous of a large proportion of their customers.

But you're right - most devs are. It would be a pleasant change if Bethesda decided to not be and allocated some time and work (it wouldn't take all that much) towards making an actual PC version with a PC-worthy interface rather than the usual "we don't care about the PC peasants - we're going to get their money anyway, so we can't even be bothered to spend tens of thousands of dollars for their hundreds of millions of dollars".

Has anyone else pre-ordered the pipboy edition?
Sold out everywhere now but ive just seen one go one ebay for £300!

I managed to secure one but selling for that price.. wow

Yup, and the Fallout Anthology, and I just had appear this morning from the bay to add to my various Fallout related collection of awesome.

It's fair to say I have an above average interest in Fallout.

I can't find any real info, does anyone know how set in stone the pre-war section is supposed to be? Will you always have to be a married parent?

Edit - Aah, or are we the baby?...God I hope so!

Some tweaks made to the opening post. Thanks for all the contributions guys! :)

That VW bus is awesome! :D I assume it is just some good Photoshop work though.

So where is the best place/deal to pre-order from atm?

No decent deals ATM afaik, with a November release date I reckon youd be best of waiting and seeing that preorder bonuses come up, £50 for the base game now is just price gouging for the early adopters.

I'm waiting anyway, whether I bought a £50 plastic game holder or not :p

I wouldn't worry about pricing too much, Bethesda games usually drop in price rather quickly, i picked up New Vegas 2 week's after release for like £12-14.

Either way if it's anything like FO3 it'll be worth £1000 if the value of the garbage released these day's is worth £50. lol.

So, that's £100 for the Pipboy Edition, £40 for the mini nuke and another £20 for the guide.

I totally haven't pre-ordered any of this stuff the day it became available and I'm definitely not eying up the Pop Vinyl figures either.

Lol, you got a link for the vinyl figures, y'know, just so I can look...... with my credit card.....

OP updated. :)

I don't think I will include things like figurines and collectables aside from the survival guide and other strictly fallout 4 related items in future, to avoid the OP becoming too cluttered.

The anthology is in there still though as I thought it would compliment peoples purchase of Fallout 4 rather nicely.
