**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I want Three Dog to come back and do Galaxy News Radio, even if its just him broadcasting from the Capital Wasteland.

This was posted back in 2013, but make of it what you will ;)

Some random info I've collected since E3, may be good to add to the OP:

Release date confirmed for 10th November 2015.

QuakeCon have a Fallout4 presentation on 24th July 2015, but only people physically there will get to see it. The events for FO4 will not be streamed, but is hoped will be available at a later date.

Fallout Shelter is expected to be released on Android in August 2015. Exact date TBC.

Pipboy editions for all versions of the game are now completely sold-out worldwide. Bethesda will not be making any more. You may get lucky if retailers have orders cancelled and put them back up for sale. The only UK retailer for Pipboy editions is GAME.

The Pipboy edition comes with exactly what has been listed on the store page. It will not come with any DLC.

Fallout 4 is a SteamWorks game and will require Steam regardless of where you buy it. People who have bought the physical DVD copy will have a Steam code and can download the entire game through Steam if they want to.

Minimum system specs for FO4 will be released around one month prior to release.

Fallout Mystery Minis (12 variations) will be available ‘this fall’. http://m.uk.ign.com/articles/2015/07/07/comic-con-funko-reveals-fallout-vinyl-toys We should expect these to be available in the UK.

The maximum size phone that will fit in the Pipboy (without any foam inserts) is 141.2mm x 71.6mm x 10.2mm. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is slightly too big, but S4 and S5 will fit.

The Pipboy will not have any platform branding, so PC, XB1 and PS4 versions will all be identical.

I got three dog the other day, half my dwellers have better stats than him now.
I may have some others from the game, been so long since I played it I do not recall.
Must check the stats.

+1 Wife downloaded this to her iPad and really enjoying it. Got to watch you don't get suckered into the "freemium" PAYG scam but unlike some of the ilk this seems fairly generous with what it gives you. As a direct result she's just bought FO3 for the PS3 (I couldn't interest her in using my PC version) and is quite keen on getting FO4 when it comes out (so that will be PC version for me, PS4 for her - deathmatch??? :D:D:D ).

My wife loves it too. Nice promo material for the upcoming FO4. Wish it was also available for PC so we don't have to fight for the iPad.

It's Bethesda...did you really expect something better?

Well, none of the Fallout or TES games have had a dialogue wheel so far, and I never thought I'd see a game from either series feature the curse of modern 'RPGs'- Paraphrasing. The PC is continually saying things that you do not choose. In all previous TES and Fallout games, I chose every single word my character said. Conversation options will be limited and you will not be able to play the game how you want to:(...There were instances in the video where a response was chosen and the PC said something completely different.
Why not write exactly what the PC is going to say on the wheel?

Don't get me wrong, I am really looking forward to the game, but very disappointed that they have stripped out the RPG elements.

Hope Obsidian make another Fallout game!

I haven't been anticipating a game this much since I saved up my pocket money for Elite on the ZX Spectrum.

I'm hoping that my aging PC is up to spec. I've got a Radeon 7950, so that should be fine, but my Q6600 (@3.2GHz) and 8GB DDR2-800 is rather behind the times now.

Aaaaaaaand I'm back having been banned for a while... Sorry folks!

Will update the OP with the new combat video and such when I get home later! :)
