**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I believe you pretty much have to install it on PC then copy the entire directory across to the deck (that has it installed so directories exist already), so not difficult but a little bit of extra work
 
33GB downloading now for the mod.
downgrader needs several files downloaded from Steam, first one is ~5GB !

Wish me luck, hoping I can just copy the folder across to the SteamDeck when this is done

EDIT: Total downgrade files are ~ 26GB !!

Mini nuke from etsy/ebay? What's the quality like? I fancied one but didn't know if the images were of a decent one and I'd end up with some tat.
 
£8 from Ali, so yeah it'll be the ones people are selling on etsy for £40 :D

Still downloading the main mod, going to install on PC, get it working, then just copy the entire folder across to the deck and cross my fingers

Is it going to be available via Steam too at some point?

Can’t be bothered with installing it using GOG, then faffing about transferring files to get it going on my Steam Deck.

I mean it is just classic gamer tat regardless.
However in this context I mean that endearingly.

I recall getting the collector's edition for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, that came with a lot of tat.

It's simple enough, with Steam you've a couple of options:

- use the folon downgrader, let it run, give it steam login and it'll downgrade for you.
- manually input about 6 console commands to download files from steam, copy those into your fallout4 directory

Then just download the mod from gog, hit run and it'll just install it for you.

I always wanted the Pipboy. got myself the F3 BoS figure, a bobblehead, Grognak 'magazine' and then my son bought me a Nuka Quantum with a light up base and some bottle caps which was nice of him :)
 
It's ALIVE!!!!

64GB total size of my fallout4 folder under /commonapps/

Just copying to the deck now but it'll take a while as moving via an external drive then the deck, currently at ~40MB/s

I don't drink beer, but I recall buying the Fallout beer for the launch of Fallout 4. All of the labels were really dodgy like not stuck on so I complained and they gave me a full refund lol.
Sold a couple on fleabay to America because I don't think it was sold there.
Sold as 'empty' of course.
