I think the graphics are good enough. Mods will be around not long after and we'll have lots of texture replacements. The graphics aren't bleeding edge but I don't really expect such from a game like Fallout. As long as the game play and content is top notch then I'm not concerned at all.

Those are 4K? Did not even see where that was mentioned, but I did not see any 4k pictures there, unless they were resized.

Yeah, I think so. Those are 1080p or 1200p I think. Definitely not 4k. Only way I can explain it is someone sold AWPC 1080p monitor and told him it was 4k

It's funny, the exact same discussion was held all over the internet before witcher 3 came out.
It's also funny how all the "Downgrade" nonsense was forgotten about shortly after release...
The rest of the screens look great, it's just the character models that suck ass. Was the same on the Deatchclaws. They look like they've been moulded in a cast then painted.
Still pumped for it though. I like the brightness and colour vibrance.

I was but then I watched a video showing poor graphics and terrible animations, and now I dont even know if I will play it at launch or just wait for mods to hit to clean up the very clear mess.
The animations in particular are appalling.

Was that available straight away, or at a later date? Would be nice if they just release it on launch, but I doubt it.
From what I have seen the graphics are a hell of a lot better than fallout 3, which I had no issues with, so I will play it on launch. Once I am done, I will wait until all DLC is released and then come back again, by then we will have high res texture etc

Yeah, the thing is when gameplay and story is good, you soon forget about graphics. Right now people are going on about it as there is no game to play.
I recently played Deus Ex Revision. Even as a mod, if you compare it to today's graphics standards, one would say that is awful, how can you play that, etc. But the gameplay is so damn good I forgot about the graphics. If anything I enjoyed them due to them being a nice upgrade over the original
