Yeah baby I may as well log onto those as well! Pretty certain Bethesda are also tweaking small parts of the game as they get more feedback
Many A True Nerd noticed some significant balance changes between two Beta runs he did.

Probably why the 30GB patch now which is excessive that's about 60% of the entire game being patched! Trust us dear fallout players its ready for launch next weekMany A True Nerd noticed some significant balance changes between two Beta runs he did.

They need a mass audience though who do care about those things to make it commercially viable! Also that reddit is stuffed full of people who either work for Bethesda or are paid to give it positive PR (just like they do with modern movies pay a PR company to inflate positive opinions about whatever junk they are trying to sell!).Apparently on the Fallout 76 Reddit things like dialogue, questing and NPCs are overrated. Going by that I expect it will sell enough for them to not bother fixing anything.
At least we have the mods for the older games like New California.

I hope they are paid, otherwise its almost like some kind of cult of personality with extremely low expectations.
That's just gaming these days I'm afraid
Sure is as anything nowadays a certain new to gaming section will put up with lower expectations it seems while the rest of us have some standards at least & know once a product gets launched in a terrible state its very rare it ever improves much!It seems to be rife on the Fallout 76 reddit. Even people praising the graphics and calling anyone who criticises the issues with the graphics as being unfair.

Most of us who play Bethesda games have a high tolerance for their bugginess and issues. So if these people are more tolerant of crap than us,it shows they have some of the lowest expectations of any gamers!
As Jim Sterling said Bethesda had a special form of pathetic which he deemed as "Bethetic". Seems to apply to a number of their fans too!!

For a while I have been looking at feedback on those reddits & bethesdas forums from what I can gather most of the positive feedback is from gamers based in USA. Gamers from outside USA are less kind, more direct & honest with negative feedback! 76 is shaping up to be a product that would probably best be a North America only release like many of those RPG's which are only for Asian gaming markets
Agreed... I'm no stranger to their games either and I think having a certain amount of tolerance is, as you say, part of playing them (especially once you get into modding which can sometimes make things worse)... but what once seemed like just an almost endearing aspect of their ambitions to make these big games (i.e. "aww they're doing their best though") is increasingly looking like they're going out of their way to see just how shoddy of a job they can do whilst still raking in millions from thirsty fanboys who have such low expectations at this point that it's insane
Is it limited time tonight? mine is still updating, not sure i'll make it on.
2 hour beta window, 30GB 'patch' crazy times.
