**** Official Fallout 76 Thread ****

I have the excavator power armour bits that are not really all that good and its taking up space in my stash. Can I get another power suit fit all the spare armour and then fit it to a power armour crafting station and leave it there, or will it auto go back to my stash?

Yes, just fit all the bits to another power armour frame, collect it and then store it in your stash and it only takes up 10 storage.

Apparantly the only useful suits to keep are the excavator, X-01 and ultracite. I’ve got a full nuka cola T51b in storage and never used it as the excavator suit carrys the most and i’m trying to upgrade it with the calibrated shocks to give another 100 carrying capacity. Managed to get the mods required but getting the stabilized violet flux from nuke zone is proving slow.

Thanks for that sweet bit of info.
Do I need a perk to use mods? I have been scrapping them all so far.

What's the deal with nuke zones, I'm only 22, will I get owned?

Depends which area has been nuked and how many other players are in the area. If Whitesprings has been nuked just head for the golf club area where most other players go to farm for legendaries and see what you can salvage. You need plenty of radX, radaway and stimpacks. Other players should hopefully protect you but be prepared to leg it so don't get overloaded. Sometimes the area respawns when another player joins and the ghouls just pile out of the entrance of the golf club and can easily overwhelm you so be careful and sneaky.

High radiation fluids, glowing mass and hardened mass sell for quite a lot of caps and some players don’t bother picking these up so examine all the meat piles for scraps which level 100+ players have left. The fauna also sells for quite abit in a nuke zone so equip the double perk and go picking for the flux’s.

For other areas that are more open then you could get singled out and chased down by level 68 glowing ghouls.

@ Semple Sorry mate I have to go its almost sunday lunch time for me :) Hope you like the BOS Initiate Paint Job I gifted you (I keep getting these now & again!)

Thanks for your help though that Tek Systems is intense you ever want to level up go there you always get about 30-40 High Level Super Mutants so a good way to Level up fast. Another spot I found is around the Whitesprings Golf Course Club House been getting about 20 Bloated Level 58 yesterday & earlier today each one is worth about 400XP (before you have any Perks on top) its possible to earn a load of XP there they keep respawning as well!

Where did you get your cool jetpack from?

Forgot those unless your about level 35-40 minimum just explore the rest of the game for now doing quests & leveling up then go back there once your higher level otherwise more often than not its 1 hit instant death on the lower levels.

Yeah cheers for the paint job, always handy to have the plans.

Yeah i've gained most of my levels at whitesprings during a nuke, i get about 700xp per glowing ghoul, and at the golf club bit they spawn en-masse! i dropped a plasma grenade amongst a load last week and cashed in just under 10k xp in one go.

Bought the Jetpack from Reddit market, got fed up of server hopping (x-01 mods are the worst to get as it's only the Enclave bunker that sells them, and you have to go so far in to reach the trader). Bought that for 3k, and managed to get a single excavator calibrated shocks for 1.5k + 500 for the violet flux.

Ok thanks mate I am not paying for XO1  its easy to go into the Enclave Bunker I can live with that ;) Also, what is that Green Plasma weapon you were using called is it any good sure looked cool from where I was standing  :)

It is easy, it's just effort, it's more annoying that when you server hop you don't spawn inside the bunker. Spawning outside and then having to go through three doors to load the bunker, and then right, down a flight of stairs, right, straight, left, straight, right, up a flight of stairs and then you're there. (can tell how many times i've hopped!).

I keep hitting max cap stash, so figured i'd rather spend my time doing something else than hopping for hours for a jetpack. The excavator mods are much easier to obtain as there's several vendors selling them, i've picked up a few, but unfortunately never had luck with calibrated shocks.

That gun was a Gatling Plasma, mines just a basic one and was tearing through those super mutants, so a legendary one would do some insane damage. They use plasma cores i think for ammo, and they burn through them in no time!

Not long after saying that I dropped by Watoga and to my surprise the vendor was selling calibrated shocks. Snapped them up, then had a bit of a nightmare...

I knew I was a bit short on violet flux, so hopped a few worlds until I came across one where someone had nuked fissure prime. Ran around collecting 40 raw violet flux, then after heading back to my base for the chemistry station, I noticed the only ingredient I was missing was the hardened mass (must have scrapped the last batch I had). Ran back to the nuke zone to try and get some and nothing I was killing was dropping any. Starting to panic as raw flux doesn't last long, I hopped a few more times till I could see whitesprings had been nuked. Eventually found a few hardened mass and crafted my stable flux just before it spoiled.

Getting a bit annoyed with the amount of time I have to spend grinding parts(screw you screw's)

How many screws do you need? I always seem to have a surplus past what I tend to keep as a minimum. Think I had about 170 earlier.

Cannot believe I just teamed up with a Level 309 player  makes my Level 94 look puny :) how on earth did they reach 309?!

Just reading back, 309's not so impressive anymore. You you can easily gain 5 levels at whitespring during a nuke until glowing ghouls stop spawning. That zone is always getting nuked, so could be looking at 15 levels a day from a few hours of gameplay.

Someone a while back, or might have been on reddit snapped a lvl 800 only a few weeks after release. Someone who'd clearly been abusing the Xp glitch!

I got one of those yesterday the thing with these drops is it seems to misfire so when you buy one or see a mod for one suddenly your next few drops are the same I have found. Its very inconsistent. Also bought Internal Database which adds +2 Int which is handy to have now I could move 2 Int Points to another Perk if I want to.

Now I have (without perks which boost even further) +18 Str + 17 Int + 17 End 490 HP & 460 Carry Weight @ level 98 (my 98 is without any boosting whatsoever so god knows what level I would be at if I had boosted!).

That is the nature of the game though everything is a massive grind to get the parts which I suppose makes some sense because of the limited nature of after a big nuke war but some are ridiculous & unless your higher level & have the perks to stop weapon decay most break too easily. Keep scrapping everything you do not need as well it gives you screws on many guns as well as plans on some.

Melee weapons do way more damage & break less easily its less hassle to stick with them until you get to the higher levels then you can start to get the Perk cards which make them virtually unbreakable. I am level 98 now & have a +5 perk card which makes my Melee weapons last what seems like forever & up to 197 Dmg per hit (more with Buffs)!
