Sneak rifleman with melee
Ah you'll be after a TSE handmade.
Sneak rifleman with melee
Must be your system I never once had a single CTD on that part. How much Ram & VRam you got? I have 16Gb Ram + 8Gb VRam not had a single crash at all in over 5 weeks now.Getting really fed up with the crashes now. It's worse now than it was on launch day.
I just launched a nuke on that world we were on @cyber69 and not long after roaming around i CTD.

I saw you launched the nuke but I couldn’t make it down to you as i’m about 200 overweight. I got disconnected about 5 minutes after you launched the nuke.
Pretty frustrating after doing all the leg work to get the codes etc.
Wow what are you carrying??
I assume you have excavator PA?
Ah I don't even bother with the launch codes anymore, but still takes a bit of time to prep the silo.
If you have dupers with millions of items in their inventory on your server CTD is a classic sign of that along with sluggish menus! Best thing to do is quit when it autosaves BEFORE you launch the Nuke then reload to get another server. @4K maxxed out for me its only using about 5Gb System Ram. Finding it uses so little resource on my PC the game is very smooth most of the time. Not in the silo, most of the time it's at Whitesprings.
18Gb RAM and 8Gb vRAM
Edit: From what i can see it's using about 7Gb of vRAM, but the clocks aren't getting pushed much.
Yeah i’m carrying everything I can grab at the moment trying to fill my stash back up since crafting loads of lever rifles to get all the mods.
When you launched the nuke as we were a team then I think it completed my task of launching a nuke as I got a reward of a gatling plasma!
Does that mean I don’t need to get launch codes now from those ghouls dotted around everywhere?

Another thing I noticed is that 76 does not add an exception neither does the Bethesda Launcher Client to the Windows Defender App exception list so it gets scanned every time could be that try adding it as an exception along with the exes in the game folder.
When it auto saves it does not matter if you world hop as it saves your status in that launch status mission which is not server dependent. That is how I did it solo waited for the auto save (the game turns laggy then if you take a long time to do that mission) quit to the main menu reloaded the auto save & it worked fine.
Also Fallout 76 does not add any firewall exceptions either so you need to add it & the Bethesda launcher to your firewall & anti virus exception lists.
Verify your installation in the Bethesda client the exe is tied to your PC I think via encryption!Ah that's good to know, although where do you respawn when you world hop? i always assumed once launch prep had completed the silo had locked down and no one else was able to get into the control room.
I'd be surprised if it's anything to do with AV/Firewalls, those usually kick in as soon as the program is executed rather than half way through.
On another note, i did have AV problems when i first installed the game, i remember coming back the 2nd day and couldn't get the game to run and found out my fallout76.exe had been removed. Had a friend send his file over rather than having to re-download the entire game again (no option for repair etc). Anyway it did happen again a few days later where the executable had been removed, so i had a quick nosey at my quarantined items, lo and behold there it was. So yeah FO76 does have an exception on mine.
Lol, just spent 15 minutes sniping a level 70 scorch beast from the top of a building that was fighting a big pack of super mutants, then 15 minutes to snipe all the super mutants, when I get down there it has no loot!
That's normally an indication of not having any damage registered. I'm not sure on higher health enemies whether you have to deal a certain amount of damage to get the loot.
Actually, did you get any xp for the kill? If you didn't get that either, then would seem you weren't able to deal any damage.
Since Bethesda nerfed the drops only Scorchbeast Queens @ Lvl95 are worth fighting now the rest drop little to no goodies anymoreLol, just spent 15 minutes sniping a level 70 scorch beast from the top of a building that was fighting a big pack of super mutants, then 15 minutes to snipe all the super mutants, when I get down there it has no loot!
Also with regards to caps you can only farm 1400 per day so once you have farmed that amount from the vendors you have to wait a day before they have any caps to trade with again. When they show 0 Caps after you enter & renter the shop a few times is the only clue you get of this! This does not affect player to player transactions just the vendors. I'm finding now I can make 1400 Caps easily just selling all the unwanted, Mentats, Water & other aids I gather just scavving all day long!Talking of caps...I spent 885 caps buying a plan for brick buildings last night, only to find that I can't read it. Presumably I already know the plan, although I don't recall seeing the option for brick walls when building my camp. I hardly ever buy plans because of the bizarre game mechanic of it being impossible to know if you've already learned a plan, but it was an impulse buy as I was on my way to building a new camp at the time. There is a nexusmod you can use at your own risk which tells you exactly which plans you own until or if Bethesda fix it. Someone has already raised a ticket with them which gives feedback to the devs directly. Also use grape Mentats & the Hard Bargain Perks to lower prices about 30%. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/214
I found an odd player camp last night. Saw some lights and heard some shooting, so I went to investigate and found a small house on a lake with about 20 industrial water purifiers. I'm not sure why a player would build that, but it was interesting. It was being attacked by some scorched and it had no defences, so I killed the scorched for them and wandered off to look into a cave that was showing on my HUD. Seen that one before that player has been growing it for ages not sure what he is up to (probably mining for the ingredients to sell items ingame).
