100% agreeUnfortunately didn't get the chance for any party play before I've had to come away for work again but I really expect that to be one of the key elements as well as one of the most fun. I think a lot of the players still have "wowitis" by that I mean they want to do everything solo and merely tolerate groups rather than embracing them as a fun (and vital) feature. A lot of times people were not interested in joining groups. Instead I would watch them die again and again then stand around complaining how much the game suckedI'm hoping that type of player will either adapt or leave back to wow. My main goal will be to find an active and fun linkshell on launch. I probably won't be able to keep up with most players due to work commitments but will level steadily. Really, really looking forward to the game now.
I think the game is the first real alternative to the genre standard wow model released in a while. Can't wait for release![]()

You sound like you'd fit in well in our LS, its full of people who play for the social side (instead of the mad rush to grind) and generally have a laugh and explore with each other. Most of the members have jobs and whatnot so it has a lot of adults (mostly 20-30)
So if you're on the Trabia server and want to join, let me know![]()

There isn’t much time left in the open beta test, but we would like to thank everyone for their cooperation and support.
They also say its only 10% of the game.. Imagine if they gave us the whole lot.. imagine the amount to download, I am glad they only gave us what we need to stress test with something to do in the mean time.
Open beta is about stress testing - you dont need a game manual on what to and how to do it for that.
Well duh, thats so obvious i can't believe you felt the need to point it out. Who would play a beta till end game? In traditional mmorpg terms they only need to put in a couple of zones levels 10-30 ish and thats all. In fact, i am supprised that mmorpgs havent started letting beta participants keep their characters beyond testing as this would be a sure fire marketing point of keeping people on. What is missing does not appear to be the last 90% of the game, if feels like 90% of the start of the game. If they truly have released an old build for beta, SE can die in teh face.
Yes, and No. An Open beta is testing en-mass, for free. You are not the one getting a good deal out of it, the company producing the software is. In this day and age Open Beta is also a way of creating hype. If you release good code, people will play it, and more people will buy it at release. By releasing abysmal code, you are shooting yourself in the foot, putting off potential clients. I can think of countless games i have purchased because beta was good. This game can shove off.
