Okay I promised some youth screen captures and here's the best of them. I tend to buy a few special youngsters each season and develop them myself but last season I went a bit overboard and accumulated a few more than usual.

I spent rather a lot - about £80 million just on under 18s.. I only buy the best with a couple thrown in for good measure and I spend an eternity scouting.
These guys are the best I can find out of a huge database and every major league. Bear in mind a 2.5 star rating is now considered a 'leading premier player' in my current save so these guys have awesome potential providing they are trained correctly.
First up, some true home growns. These were bought into my youth squad in March. I feel have they have potential to make my first squad but they will need considerable development especially in position.
Peter Lynch is an AM but I am retraining him to become an attacking right winger. As you can see he has already started adopting his new position. That yellow dot wasn't there at the beginning of his career. That dot will soon become green. I think Peter will become a good player but maybe not good enough for my first team.
Next up is Victor Longo. I think this guy will be a quality player. A 6ft 2 poacher with already decent stats and a lot of potential.
My final HG is Paul Webster. Now this guy is something special. An AM being retrained in the CM role I think he will be very good. I like attacking central midfielders. He is 4 star and with some training will be of use in my first team.
Next up are the youth I have collected over time. These guys are mostly under 18 and offer considerable potential.
Clement Hennion - a star of the future and he already is wanted by major clubs which is a pain
