Who are you managing now??

The team talk bugs me a bit but it seems essential to get the right sort of results (or just scream at everyone).

Size of stadium isn't too much of a problem in L2, when Bishops Stortford got there it was ok with 2k and CAFC only got about 8k into their 24k stadium. When you get to L1/the champ you'll need a bigger one but hopefully will get to ground share, like when I had to play at Stadium MK for a season (record attendance for Bishops Stortford is still there 18k as the max for their stadium is only 16k)

Hayes & Yeading, whoever the hell they are. I started the new game unemployed for a laugh. It's much more of a challenge isn't it.

I've tried to follow my own advice - I've rebuilt the backroom as best I can. I've got 3 scouts on the books but they aren't particularly show stopping. I've got a Head of Youth and a DOF with average stats. But at least I have them to help a bit.

I don't have a penny at the moment to spend on any improvements and I can only really afford free transfers, as is always the way. But at least I have a reasonable wage budget. I had £2k spare after I ditched the crappy players and have rebuilt the squad with non-contracts. I'm just about to contract a lot of these dudes though as I lost my best two players in my first season. I've got a reasonably average team at the mo, and am in 7th spot in the BSP. I *might* just make the playoffs.. Media prediction for me is relegation, so I hope that I can stay in the top half.

The stadium is an issue for me - it's a lot smaller than most others in this league I've noticed and that will have an effect on income. I want to try and upgrade asap.

Messi still going strong for Barca aged 33. Just looked at his attributes and noticed he's still rated 20 in 13 of them.

Have a serious injury Crisis going into December, I have 10 players from my senior squad injured and having to fill the bench with youth players.

Yep it's a common problem with a lot of teams in this game. My QPR save was shocking, I would end up with players injured in match almost every game. I reckon teams must have some kind of injury proneness rating as well as players. My new Hayes & Yeading save is completely different. I have just 1 player injured at present and other teams in my league have up to 10. The most I've had is 5 but 3 of those were short term few day injuries.

Does your physio's ability not have a bearing on how often your players get injured?

I don't think so. I read a report a while back - If you have 1 or 21, it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've got 2 at the mo, with fairly good stats for a newly promoted league 2 team. But with QPR I had half a dozen with 20 physio. Didn't make a blind bit of difference and actually cost me a fortune to have them.

Can depend on your training schedules (i.e. are they set on "hard") and also the same for your in-match tackling settling.

Haven't played in a while, first time in ages I've decided to manage outside of the England. Took over as Braunschweig in Germany. Had to reduce the wage bill from £150,000 per week to well under £100,000. All my big earners were over 32 so no one wanted them, and it was a massive pain to find out that once I'd gotten rid of them (and could afford to pay a contract of more than £325 per week) that no one wanted to join me anyway!

In my game that I got to 2021 I get a crash dump everytime at a certain date :(

Is it worth opening the .dmp file or is that it, my game is corrupt?

Le champ table!

Gutted I could have won if my team hadn't just fallen apart a little at the end.

Prem is going to be a big ask but I think I have the scouting knowledge and wage discipline to do it.

Amusingly I have just been offered the Bishops Stortford job again :D didn't fancy going back to pick up the pieces of my dream team (almost everyone is gone now) but it seems hilarious that clubs at a certain level cannot see past a few managers... (just like real life)
