***** Official Football Manager 13 Thread *****

Normally someone will update a skin for it to work with the new version. This normally happens while Beta is about so you will have to go check Susie or something.
 
My flipping game won't update from the BETA version. In the process of re-downloading the entire game, see if that helps.

EDIT: Fs, just wont update :S. What on earth do I do?

I'm downloading a 386.7 MB update right now... is that really the full updated game from the Beta? :confused:
 
How many leagues are people going to play with? I'm tempted to load them all :eek:

@Azza, my update on my Macbook Pro was 1.6GB but same as you on my PC. Although I didn't update to the 'new' patch on my Macbook Pro :)

I did it with all leagues in Europe plus Mexico, MLS, Brazil and Argentina.

Regretted that as it's dog slow and I didn't think of a good name for my Serbian alter-ego last night so I am going to start that again later on.

Did you buy FM13 through Steam or a boxed version like me? See below if you bought a boxed version. :)

Started with Leeds as I always do when any FM comes out.

Started badly, very badly, then went a very defensive formation and grinding out results, I feel for Warnock with this squad..

I'm doing the exact same.

It is painful. Concede so many goals, and struggling to score consistently. Bad squad and next to no room to expand the squad....doubt I'll make it till christmas :P

You need Scotland on that list :p

Especially if you have the Republic and NI which are horrific leagues to play in (after dominating the republics league and shouting a lot at NI 2nd division you won't put them on again...)

Plus play Belgium division 2! That was strangely fun

There really isn't much of anything in Scotland :(

I think I'll remove the two Irish Leagues actually.

Right, so, Manchester United first game I think.

The Beta was fun, but this is the real gritty first game period.

I don't plan on making 'huge' changes to the Manchester United squad, I can hopefully bring in a full back, a midfielder and maybe off load players I won't use or whom aren't good enough.

I plan to bring in a lot of back room staff though.
