Well the ones I use are at sortitoutsi and they are updated for sure because I have different faces in mine.
I'm already downloading the face pack. Just need an up to date kit pack as there will be different kits from last year surely.
I've found the official dark skin on Steam Workshop. How the hell do you get it to show up in FM14 after clicking 'subscribe'? Why the hell do they have to overcomplicate things?

Nevermind, figured it out. Some simple instructions on Steam Workshop may have made things easier.

I've just bought this seeing as BF4 is still a flaky POS.
Just downloading now. £22.99 was a small price to pay for the amount of time I'll play this. Just need to update it with kits, logos and face packs now.
Where did you get that price?

Does anyone have issues using the search box when looking for new players?
I type a player name into the search box but it doesn't show up even though it works when i press return. It seems as if it's using a white font against a white background.
I've just won my first two friendlies 6-0 and 3-2 playing with Man Utd. Liking the feel of the game so far. I'm actually surprised how easily I've got back into the swing of things.

Is it normal (surely not) for some player ratings to be missing during a game? Only the ratings for players with their 'condition' in yellow are being shown.
Also, how do you set how deep you want your defence to defend? Has it changed?

Those players without ratings have probably just come onto the pitch? I.e. you've sent them on as substitutes? It'll take a few minutes of the game for them to do enough to gain a rating.
In the tactics page is a team instructions bit. You can choose from several instructions which go green when you select them. Any instructions that clash then go red so you know you can't select them. So if you select play at high tempo, playing at a slower tempo goes red because it clashes. One of the parts of the screen deals with the line of defence.Also, how do you set how deep you want your defence to defend? Has it changed?

Go learn the tactics learn how your players play and interact with each other. Spend some time dont just bitch the game is playable its doable and its fun.

Thinking winning stuff means the game is not deeply flawed.
So if I played Rome 2 on release and beat game does that mean the game was not broken and it was just people not knowing how to RTS lol ?

Hey has anyone delved into the free transfers in the Premier League yet? I've picked up two awesome players for absolutely nothing. I can't work out why these guys were dropped to be honest as they are quality players. Not injury prone or anything. Top stats. Will see how the new one pans out in my second season in the PL as Charlton.

No worries. I was a bit stumped when your screenshot showed more than 3 players without ratings. Wondered how that had happened but then your previous post mentioned two friendlies. Ah!Of course.

I tell you something though I am really struggling to find young talent at the mo, the likes I had plenty of in 13.
15-16 year olds to develop. There has been very little worth buying. Perhaps 2 or 3 definites in one season in the top tier who will possibly be world class. But there's not a lot else. In 13 my shortlist would be full of 15-16 year olds and some of them were 4.5/5 star for me to watch and buy. So far I've got one chap, a English striker who was world class potential, now 5 star class. But he cost me £7 million. My shortlist is full of much older players this time round. Most selected from scouts. It's a bit different to say the least. I am hoping that as my team gets bigger I will have more choice. I have 18 scouts now, some 20/20, and 50% world coverage. I've been trying desperately to find coaches from around the world who help with the scouting coverage. So we will see what this season brings.
I don't know what else to do - I've trawled through hundreds of regens and when I click on search players I now have 42,000 to choose from, which is a step up from where I was before. The scouts are certainly worth investing in.

Can't wait to finish this season with Sunderland, 75% of the first team have contracts expiring so I shall have lots of cash to play with for the first time really. Probably keep 1 or 2 but they really are all has-beens now, think I have a 35year old and 2 34yo in first team at the moment.
Each year you get the message "players release in UK" etc, I always look through all of them for the big clubs, there's a page that shows them all on each country homepage.
