Looks ok in there, set to "all players". The African one only has 3/10, Japanese one is 10/11 so not brilliant. Noticed their qualifications aren't great either the one in S.America isn't much better attribute wise but he has continental pro qualifications at least.

Must be that then mate cheers, I'll have to send a european to Asia with high adaptability as scouts from there seem few and far between!

Yeah, £63 million but 5* potential so I went for it. His preferred moves are run through centre and places shots. Last season was the first season he was my first choice striker. Season before he played every now and again.

This is another player I've got. 20 years old, getting offers of £40 million for him

Managed to sell Buttner to Marseille for £2m up front and £8m over 48 months. Now that I have Luke Shaw and Jonathan Silva I see no need to have a third DL, especially as all of my DLs are just DL. I have no DLC like Heinze say.

I have agreed a deal to sign Salomon Rondo for £20m up front and £4m over 12 months. However I have delayed that. Is that a good deal or should I keep looking for another strike? I would prefer Aguero or Lewandowski. :p

I've also had a bid for Lucas Romero accepted. I offered £25m and they said £30.5m up front and £7.5m over 12 months. I tried £30m up front and £6.5m over 12 months which they accepted. Considering they wanted £60m+ in the summer this is a major advance! I've offered him a contract and I'm waiting to hear from him. I would rather sign Romero for a January transfer than Rondon. I have £46m and that doesn't include the £2m for Buttner so I might be able to afford both depending on whether the board gives me money in January.
 
Finally got round to completing my first season. Started unemployed and got a job with Swansea starlight away (experience set to automatic as I forgot to change it)
Finished 14th in Prem. Conceded too many.
Spain beat Argentina in World Cup.

Second season just started and its abysmal so far. The board want me to play defensively but that's not in my nature.
Michu and Bony are pretty good, not top 6 material but would be good anywhere else.


A lot has changed since I last played FM.
 
I've started a new save as Dover in the bottom playable league. Going to see if I can get them up into the BPL. This is running consecutively with my Peterborough save which I am doing well in. I've got a £5k transfer budget to play with - I feel spoilt! :D

Few of the regens in my first team at the moment, Keles & Imren turkish duo on each others favoured personnel, are unstoppable playing together. Jaume beast of a DC is now Spanish first choice, AI bought him for 900k before I arrived :D and lastly future England no.1 learning from De Gea I should really get loaned out now.

Still no 5* which I'm disappointed about, I have a 4.5* u17 with 19 pace/accel but pretty poor otherwise

They look like good players there - i find it difficult to evaluate without their attribute graphs, but I won't ask you to do them again :D

I've sometimes found that if i play a 4 star potential quite a bit in the first team their potential actually increases. But I'm not sure how that works because the potential is based on a top end figure which doesn't change - unless of course the scouts reported incorrectly.
 
I just clicked on liverscore to see if there was any int. friendles on and saw Hammarby playing, don't know why but clicked on them and hey presto...



He's back playing for them, the CM legend :D
 
I decided to give the Swansea board's defensive philosophy a try.

Played 4 matches and lost them all. Should have stuck to my attacking ways.

They 'invited' me to a meeting, if I refused, I could pack my desk.
I got 1 match to turn things around.
League Cup 3rd round away to Southampton (finished 5th last year)
3-0 down at half time so I switched back to my attacking ways.
3-3 at full time, extra time I held level and took it to penalties.
Lost 15-14. And got sacked. (They then won their next 5 games using the main players and formation I was using)

Now that seems like an extraordinary amount of penalties to me, is anyone else getting this sort of thing?
Chelsea beat Blackpool 11-10 in another game on penalties too.

Yeah occasionally that happens with penalties, seems to get stuck in a loop. I remember one time it just wouldn't finish I had to exit the game :D
 
Almost spat out my tea when I got this response! I initially bid 20m (max he's actually worth IMO) but they kept refusing so I carried on upping it just out of interest to see what they wanted..

This is so good. My old Champ Man squads used to be 50% Swedish!

I would upload some from my FM 14 Burton Albion save, but I have no idea where my FM 14 screenshots are going!
 
My scouting still seems broken :( I got the best scout I could get with 18 adapt, 18 determination and 19 JP sent him to asia and zero reports after 100days. It must be to do with how I set up the database originally.

edit - added more leagues in Asia, it said it exceeds the recommended player amount but never mind!

I bought him at Brentford and after a couple of seasons was easily hitting 25-35 goals per season, including cup and continental goals. After I joined Stockport, the AI-controlled Brentford retrained him to play as a central midfielder :confused: Same goes for when he was playing for the national team! Even then he still hit double figures most seasons, but it was a bit of a waste! 369 goals in 600 games, of which about 1/4 were from midfield, isn't the worst return.

Devastated that my laptop broke and that save disappeared :(
