Hehe you've got some of the 'token' FM players there that always seem to shine. I've had Luke Shaw, Ward-Prowse and Hughes too, and they're always pretty good aren't they. I can't really offer any advice over and above what you already have but I would say specifically concentrate on regen youth. Make sure your facilities are top-notch although that is already pretty likely.
Yeah. Luke Shaw is pretty good for me consistently. Ward-Prowse is brilliant and getting better; he's taking some amazing free-kicks and scoring from them when we need the goals. I'll need to tinker with my free-kicks instructions a bit for next season to increase how many he takes. I'm still trying to get Hughes to be as consistent as Ward-Prowse. He'll have some very good games and then some not very good games but it's still early days for him.
As for my youth facilities, they are pretty decent. I had them re-developed last season as they had fallen a bit in terms of quality. I am obliged by my contract to look towards youth and I get a few messages from my coaches each season telling me to look at the youth talent. I find a cheeky way to buy people but still develop youth is to buy 16 year olds with potential and develop them myself.

Got a few strikers coming in the transfer window and a decent looking DC in 2 years time and when I signed all three, there was a statement in the contract window that said this signing met my "use youth talent" target!
There are a couple of standout strikers who have developed differently but very progressively in several different saves for me. That Dongu geezer who plays for Barca - he only has a rating of 165ish out of 200 but he develops really well and turns into a lethal forward. Then there is a guy called Ewandro. Look out for him too, as he has turned into something very special in all my saves.
Cheers, I'll check them both out. I did try to go for Lewandowski and/or Aguero two seasons or so ago but failed as Lewandowski didn't want to leave Bayern and City refused to sell me Aguero for a fee I could actually afford.
I don't think Rooney is good enough to be my sole striker, he's better for me at AMC. Welbeck won't cut it either and Morata can be amazing but he can also be rubbisher than Welbeck can be, which takes some doing!! So whilst we scored more goals than ever before, there were a few games where we didn't pose enough of a threat and ideally I'll buy a top notch striker this summer and sell off Welbeck and Morata to make way for him and balance the books as well. I'd then have Henriquez and Wilson to back him and Rooney up. My only problem is that I'd like a developed striker who is first team quality now and Lewandowski/Aguero are too old to be long term options for how much they will cost and all the other top strikers are at Barcelona/Madrid etc and so going to cost way too much. So that leaves me looking for younger strikers who are still developing.
Which club is/was Ewandro at? I've found 37 people when searching for him and I'm trying to work out which one is the one you're on about!
Found him! Was a bit confused because he's at some Croatian club. Turns out he's on loan from Sao Paolo which makes sense.
