There's also some new "loyalty scheme" called InSIder, the SI in the middle standing for Sports Interactive.

With the announcement of the release month and packshot for Football Manager 2015 today, we thought you should know about our brand new loyalty scheme, InSIder.

Launched today, InSIder will bring you closer than ever to the heart of the studio behind FM. In addition to being the first to hear all the news from within Sports Interactive, InSIders will enjoy a number of benefits including exclusive offers, extra game and feature news, competitions, "Meet the Squad" interviews with members of the SI team, exclusive partner deals and lots more.

Also, as a thank you for being a loyal member of the FM community and to kick things off, we are offering InSIders a unique 10% discount code* which can be used if you pre-order Football Manager 2015 from the SEGA Store.

So what do you need to do to join?

If you are signed up to the Football Manager mailing list you should receive an email about InSider shortly. If you don't receive this then you are not currently a member. If you want to join and get access to the benefits, head to www.footballmanager.com, where you’ll find all the details.

Once you’ve signed up, your first InSIder offer (10% discount code) will be emailed to you separately within 48-hours. If you’ve signed up and don’t think you’ve received your code, please contact [email protected] with details.

What's more, if you pre-order Football Manager 2015, you'll enjoy early access to a fully-playable Beta** version of the game, available roughly two weeks prior to the official release date. Careers started in this Beta version will continue in the full game, so it really is like getting your hands on the game two weeks early.

This year, we’ll be releasing information on new features for Football Manager 2015 in early October, including some exclusives to InSIders first.

*Discount offer only available until 11pm (BST) on Monday 1st September
**Please note, the "Beta" is a work in progress version of the game. Whilst careers started in the Beta will work with the final version, some issues may occur.

Note: not open to entry to people residing in Germany.
Oh and SI don't like the Nazis, sorry Germans. :D:p
Anyone interested in me sharing a 15GB Mod pack?

Adboards
Backgrounds
Faces
Logos
Kits

Will share via BitTorrent Sync if anyone wants.
I'll take you up on the offer. :) Will need to work out how to unpack the stuff to my C: drive mind. It's slower than slow when unpacking a massive archive of small files.

The files will be "as is".

When you have Bit Torrent Sync installed, the secret/key is:

BSFFVGSBEZZKOTENMSE354SPKWX3F53QQ

That is for anyone who wants it.

up for sharing the pack, not that i'll use it but my torrent client is on 24/7 and i'm on fibre so anything to help :)

OK, it has now stopped. I've downloaded 449.2kB apparently.

Sorry about that, is all working now.

got a .tor for this?

Am using BitTorrent Sync as it makes updating easier as others just get the changed files and I do not have to create another .torrent which for a 15GB folder takes some time.

Sync is awesome, if you have not tried it, I recommend looking it up.

It is similiar to Torrents to a degree but much more practical.

How do I get the latest data update to be available in the "classic" mode?

I've downloaded what looks like the latest update from sortitoutsi and put it in the "Editor Data" folder but I still only get the "Default" and "Official 14.3.0" options when selecting the game data to use!?!?

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong??

When you start a new game it isn't the database you need to alter.

Leave it at Official 14.3.0, then just under that option that says 'Editor Data Files'. If you click on the 'Edit' button at the bottom of that box, it will take you to all of your options where you can then select the update you have downloaded.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the reply but when I start a "Classic" game I don't get the "Editor Data Files" below!?!?!?

I've tried the full game and it does give me the option but definitely not on the classic mode!

You can't have custom databases for classic mode since the database is locked so no one can't mess around with it :(.

Miles from SIgames is on Hawksbee and Jacobs on Talksport at the moment doing an interesting interview about their data collection etc. Probably be available on demand on their site after if anyone missed it

First season with Fleetwood Town.

We reach the last match of the season and I'm top by 1 point so need a win to bag the title, otherwise Oxford might steal it from me. We'd played Oxford away a few matches earlier and we could have won that match - despite leading 3-2 with 30 minutes left, we threw it away and lost 4-3

Coming into this match, we were unbeaten in 4 and cruised the last 3 matches, but today we couldn't play for toffee. Southend were pressing us hard and one of their STs smacked home a lucky rebound in the 54th minute. Oxford looked to have the title in the bag by then, leading 3-1 away at Northampton after 57 minutes.

A 4th goal in the 91st minute looked to be the start of the Oxford title party. Being assured of 2nd place, I'd thrown on another striker and with 12 minutes left, threw on my last two subs. I left 3 at the back and looked for the kitchen sink to try to launch that at a stiff Southend defence (now playing with 2 DMs in front of the back four).

In the 92nd minute my AMR finally gets to the byline and pulls back a perfect ball for my CM(A) to smash home at the near post. Time for death or glory, so I hit the Overload button.

Amazingly we get the ball back from the kickoff and some neat passing gets the ball back out to my AMR. He floats in a beauty to the back post for my onrushing DLF(s) (who at 38 doesn't have the best of legs!) to bundle the ball into the net for a 93rd minute winner :D  :D  :D

Utterly amazing. Doesn't half make up for the moments when you want to rage quit, like when we got spanked 6-0 at home after just 4 league matches.

My AMR is Matty Blair. Doesn't have the best of technical stats as he's only rated 3 PA. However, with 16 work rate, 16 determination, 15 pace, 15 acceleration, 18 stamina and 20 natural fitness means he runs up and down the right wing all day like the Energiser Bunny without needing sub'ing.

Who is going to buy the steam pre-order FM15 with beta access?

I've just run into a repeatable crash when hiring the talents of a player/scout from Pakistan. As soon as he transfers to my club the game will crash and throw me to the desktop. I then revalidated my files, cancel his transfer and the game allowed me to continue. He's not a regen either, so maybe run into a problem here.
