They were until the end of the season, I asked the board fairly early on to try make us professional. This was completed end of season, hence only keeping a few players :)

Yeah - fitness wise they're pretty shocking, but they're perfect for the false nines I run as seems to work better with slow players. Trezeguet has been out for 5 months this season though :(

Del Piero is retiring end of season, but keeping him on as staff. He'll be done at the ripe ol' age of 41 I believe!
 
Another season over. Promoted again - literally just scoring more than the other team, defence wasn't great this season. Holidayed my last 13 games as i had a decent lead and still held on. Did same last season too. A few screenies below;

My transfers were odd, I had to sell players early on because of FFP - and Ivo (sold for £8m+) I only signed for free last season and he hadn't played a minute because of WP etc. Had a £3-4m bid from Madrid and he was unhappy it was rejected, so I just sold him straight away. No idea how I managed to sign him in fairness, was just one I agreed to sign before anyone else did and offered about 20x his wages (still only like £1,500/week).

Hopefully most of the players in above screenies I'll keep for a couple more seasons. Will Berry is the best one, been with my since he was 15 and captain by 16.
 
I'm having some problems, whether they are bugs remains to be seem.

I have got Boreham Wood into the Premiership from the Conference South, so I've done very well. My club is now rich and successful, but I cannot get a feeder club for work permits. This is causing me issues now as I am losing out to the other clubs. Even if I am allowed to pick a club for myself as the feeder they refuse. It's really weird.

Apparently a hotfix has been released but I haven't been able to find it yet.

Not got FM15 yet, but the only thing I ever get is the (rather large) Face & Badge pack that fixes player faces and Premiership team badges, amongst other things. Someone here may host it somewhere?

Does anyone play Classic mode? Tempted to buy this once the next update is out (I take it they are planning the usual Feb/March update?), and don't have a huge amount of time to play, so Classic mode may be better if it's any good.
 
Young, quick and solid in every important way for a defensive midfielder. I'd stick, but he'd benefit from more defensive training or he could become a good deep-lying playmaker. Or in central midfield he'd be good and solid box-to-box.

He plays as a DLP for me but as a DM. I could move him up a bit. I just think I can find better for less.

So find a better prospect first, then sell? It all rests on how your coaches rate his progress and potential and what his attitude is like. If he's expected to ramp it up a bit in the coming years, bring it out of him yourself, as he's good enough to be a regular player already. If he's likely to improve then he'll either do better for you or you can sell him for more at a later date.

Yup :D So lucky. I got him on a free when he was 18. He was playing with Lucchese Libertas in the Serie D (which ironically is my 'rival'). I was in the Lega Pro (Serie C) but got promotion to the Serie B that season. He is one of 2 (potentially 4) players that are worth over 10M.
 
I decided to give a Newcastle game a go using the Eriksen tactics and see how it went.

The answer is surprisingly well :p

Only was able to buy in Will Hughes and managed to win the Carling Cup (or whatever it is called) I'm in the semi final of the FA Cup against Arsenal and I'm 4th with 7 games left 8 points clear of Man City.

Been choking in the league against lower teams as my lead was 12 points now down to 8, my defence is just shocking. I'm 4th conceeding 46, th next team to concede as many is in 15th place (also conceding 46) and only the bottom 4 have worse records :p

I've actually lost the least in the league (3 games) but drew 12 which is the most in the league, my leaky defence will probably cost me 4th I think :(

Ferreya is amazing, 22 goals but he is now out for the rest of the season with injury. Ben Arfa (Hull cancelled his loan for some reason) is highest rating in the league so my attack line is great.

Also had a youth player in my first intake flagged as potential stat premier division player, best player at the club as well :p He's 16 and after signing a contract worth 750k already :p

Hopefully can hang onto 4th, get a good defence then kick on from there!

edit: Got shafted for injuries too after Xmas, my first choice AML out, my backup CM out, RB out, CF out, a real struggle with my small squad.
