Woohoo, got 4th spot :D

Won my games and the big one was beating Man City 3-2 at home with them being my main challengers, 3 games left to relax until the FA Cup final against Norwich :p I beat Arsenal 6-3 in the semi thanks to them getting a red card and me scoring 3 in extra time, Norwich beat ManU on the other semi on penalties.

Hopefully it will Carling Cup, FA Cup and 4th in the first season :D
 
Well, looks like I forgot to reject the Man City deal, and the player chose City. Still can't find a replacement (they want 100M+ for all the players I like ffs) so I just cancelled the deal when the player accepted. I will probably sell him when the actual transfer season starts (hopefully one youngster I like is put up for loan).
 
Lost the FA cup final 3-1 to Norwich :o Week leading up to the match lost Krul, Janmaat, Santon, Rivière (striker when Ferreya already out) Anita all injured, most my first team basically :p

Summer I sold Ben Arfa for 32mill to Chelsea, Santon went to Chelsea for 14mil and I bought in Balanta, Umitti, Odegaard and amazingly got Moura from PSG for 40mil! Still around 10mil left an need more support for the team but could be an interesting season!

Just a bit.. currently in season 2019/2020 with Real Madrid. Ronaldo just had his testimonial.

Took the Spain job as Emery completely messed it up after Del Bosque. Dropped them to 34th in the rankings :eek: Currently up to 25th and qualified for the Euros.

Ready to play this 'properly' now as a lower team as I reckon I've got the changes in this year's relase sussed
 
Just started a new one as i was really struggling starting unemployed and kept suffering from second season syndrome. Picked Nottingham Forest, quite fun a few games in, sadly Odegaard wasn't interested in joining lol.
 
Shouldn't be too long for the next patch to hopefully tidy up some of the nagging bugs.

The one that really gets my goat are back passes which don't go anywhere near the GK and give away unforced corners.
 
I think the problem is, along with much of the match engine issues, is that the graphical representation of incidents isn't always able to accurately show what's happening 'behind the scenes' if you will. Obviously a back-pass which is near the corner flag isn't going to happen much in real life, but think of it as being out of reach of the keeper and that's what it's trying to show. You might find yourself throwing phones and remotes at the computer a little less! :p

I think the game is still driven by the old text style of play, with the graphics merely being lumped on top and trying to show where possible what's meant to be happening. Sometimes it does an appalling job at it though.

What gets me is how often the defenders just stand still when a through ball is played through. That's rather more game breaking in my opinion.
 
Does anyone have a single link to the Metallic logos pack? I really fancy buying this but won't play it without the logos etc. Just ruins the immersion for me seeing shoddy club logos.
