well it looks great maxed out, but whilst racing im on low detail... very low ;p

think i've settled on a responsive G25 setup so now I'm just going to hit time trial and see how it all goes... my main problwm whilst playing is this voice in my head saying over and over 'I wish this was Geoff Crammonds GP2!!! ''
 
Don't know if anyone else has noticed this or if it's a known bug. Working through the career mode, just completed the 4th race at shanghai.

I was in third position when the leader and second position went for their pitstop. Obviously I then moved up into 1st position...now here's the problem. My team never called me in for a pitstop :confused: I went the entire race without a stop so ended up winning the race :confused: I am really confused.

anyway, graphics look amazing. I have everything running on high with all the ultra settings moved up to ultra (think theres about six). FPS between 55-60. I have V-SYNC on BTW. This is with the top 8xQMASS or whatever it's called and 1920x1080 :p Can't say I've noticed any slowdowns during the race either.
 
Up am running at last, performance seems half decent too!

Can anyone describe how to set Ai to legendary? Got the difficulty to expert but can't figure out where to go to change the Ai!

Doesn't seem to be much wheel spin either which seems od and after rfactor I'm not used to not being able to control the car for the whole pitlane!

yup going to love this game I really hope CM dont just forget this game because if they iron out the bugs it will be fantastic!!!

Got this for my birthday this morning :)

First impressions, graphics are great, some poorer textures but seeing all those cars on track, especially in the wet is brilliant!

Handling is very easy to pick up, plugged my DFGT in and things were pretty good straight away with little tweaking. Love the way the game is put together so far, career seems fun and rewarding.

Don't have anything bad to say right now, runs like a dream on my 5770, way better than I expected.

Looking forward to putting some more hours in soon.

Best to leave catalyst control centre at default settings and change settings in-game. That link shows the gamer was on about mipmap detail levels were set on high performance on his CCC installs but my default installs of CCC always have the mipmap detail levels at default high quality. Only change the settings in ccc if official advice is given. But each to their own way of doing things :)

Not tried mine yet will later tonight.

I had this problem in Dirt2. Does the game actually "start" in full screen mode?, or does it start off in a window mode "then" go to full screen? What about creating a shortcurt on desktop and start it Maximised, or even Compatabiblity/Administrator mode?, don't know what it is, hope you get it sorted though:)

Well done my first full race weekend and omg it's hard !! I put all the assists off and ai on legendary and it seems spot on. However I couldn't handle the car without the some TC, so I've got that on medium after spending FP1 doing doughnuts at every slow speed corner. But FP2 was brilliant, I still had the car spinning a little but no where near as much as without TC. Quali was tough only managed 20th so my objective was spot on. But the race was horrible ... well it was awesome but I got a puncture half way through :( and that was me at the back of the grid for the remainder of the race. I could see a car in the distance but there wasn't enough time left to catch up.

Damn it's tough but oh so good at the same time. very rewarding hooking up a fast lap to beat your team mate :D

So far so good :D and it runs smooth on my machine.
