F1 drivers moan way too much, they should try playing this game on Monaco just for 5 mins, my right thumb is killing me :p. About the graphics, I did feel they were a bit dull at first, but after playing some tracks when it wasn't cloudy it does look quite colourful at times.

I wish I still had my g25, xbox 360 pad seems nice at first but it really hurts my hands even after a short session :(.

I duno i dont play on that res,
I made a vidio of that res but i wouldnt play with it.
1920x1200 it runs fine.
I may upgrade my graphics if the dx11 gets better.
but untill then ive no real need as it works fine for me.

LOL! I just watched your video...

The game is running, but it's hardly playable, that's with only 1 car on the track too, and I don't know why you're proud of getting 20fps every ten seconds or so inbetween the massive slowdowns where it goes to about 12fps. I bet your average fps is barely above 10 or 11. Oh, and you need elocution sessions. Derrrrrp derp derp.

rofl all im saying is i can play the game on that res on a 8800 graphics card
it is playable and the fps dont change during a race when i see more cars it stays the same.
i play the game on a lower res and it looks great.
All im saying is you dont need a top card to max this game out you can run it on cards that are a lot slower than todays models.
my cards allmost 5 years old and i havent yet found the need to upgrade the thing.
you can buy them new today for under 80 pounds.
Its a good game im not trying to proof anything im just stating that no one with faster cards than i should be having any problems at all

I had the 9800 GT and had to upgrade to a HD5850 just to play Fallout 3 properly. I don't know who you are trying to fool, this forum is full of hardware fanatics. There's a difference between the game running and the game being playable. My 9800GT would run Crysis on High, was it playable? Hell no.

MASSIVE HUGE LET DOWN OF A GAME
along with the whole of the ati drivers team the people who made this game want sacking for delivering such utter half harted poor performing *****
surely to god they knew of all the bugs n glitches, if a patch ismt out by this time next week i will be uninstalling this and shelving it
I cant believe how disapointed i am

Remember Codies hyped the hell out of Op Flashpoint - Dragons Rising, just like they did with F1 2010, and look how that turned out...

Save game has corrupted after only 1GP, at least DiRT 2 had the decency to let me complete at least 80% of the game.

Pathetic, really needs to be fixed.

i cant say ive had any problems so far, i did get a warning from steam on first attempt to run that my game files were defragmented and did i want steam to fix them, which i did and its ran flawlessy since

Is anyone finding that the game hangs on a 'loading screen' after almost every session (on the black screen with a spinning circle and the word 'loading' in the top right corner)??

When this happens I'm forced to alt-tab and kill the game manually. When I restart the game it picks-up from where I left off, i.e. if it hangs on the way-out of qualifying then it will put me into the race next time I load. The only exception is when it crashes at the end of a race... the results don't get saved and I'm forced to run the race again!

Found a thread on the codemasters support forum, but no working solutions offered.

... only had the game a couple of hours as well.

dont know if anyones read this, makes very good reading tho
make of it what you will

and the people are starting to see, the game IS broke

That reminds me of the old games where the AI would basically cheat because they had no AI, if you were in front you couldn't shake them off and if you stopped on track for 30secs they'd still only be 200yrds down the road when you got going again. :p

Pretty shocking that in this day and age Codemaster's 'fabricate' lap times to compensate for poor AI.

Just finished my first grand prix weekend.

Played on proffesional difficulty and qualified 4th in the lotus!I upped the AI to legendary in the race and managed to finish in 6th :). Had a good battle with webber but in the end all my blocking just couldnt keep him off me. His car was too fast :p

The pit lane bug is very bad but easily remedied by pitting on a different lap to everyone else (until codemasters fix it). Didnt have one single puncture and my tyres always seemed in good condition.
