Good choice! I've got a G25 and can't fault the Logitech support. My H pattern gear shift wouldn't select reverse after a year of use. I sent them an email with little hope of anything being done. A week and a bit later i had a whole new wheel turn up in the post. A* for service.

I'll second that. I do this in the Kit car to get better turn in and lets me brake a bit later. This combined with heel and toe makes for a nice curve into and out of the corner without losing any of the revs
 
I just can not manage a decent frame rate with this game :( what are people's setting with this ? i have gtx 460 and i know there are probs but man it's just to Skippy for me i have tried all the hacks reply files e.t.c but no joy,best i managed was in windows mode nice steady 30 fps but when i go back to game next day it's all gone to pot again any recommendations are well come thanks.

My system is as follows:

quad core @ 3001

GTX 460

8 gig of ram

Win 7 64.

Got a quick HD? I think the replays cause the HD to save a lot whilst racing.

I have disabled the replays.

Edit: replay.pbf deleted then made read only you say replays is there more than one ?

Also Using nvidia 260.63 beta

I'll ring Lotus tomorrow and tell them..maybe they will give me Jarno's seat :p

The tracks aren't laser scanned as far as i know so thats probably the big difference but the slower cars do feel too grippy imo.

Ah well, still fun to drive.
 
Had a nightmare race at Australia, P6 in qually an only managed 14th in the race after an AI car hit me and i got a drive through for it, then another AI hit me and gave me a puncture.

Anyway onto Malaysia and im starting the race from pole.

EDIT: bah, only managed 4th in the race, seems Alonso, Webber and Hamilton had secret turbo chargers for the race.

Loving this even more with TrackIR, i feel more relaxed when i'm actually lapping quicker just because i am now looking through the corner, where i want to go rather than just where the nose of the car is pointing.

Can you show some videos of this bud? Would be nice.. might get one myself (gives me an excuse since Im trying to get into FSX as well).
