You can never please anyone. Release a game too early, it gets slated for lack of playtesting.

Release it too late, it gets slated for being delayed constantly. Lose-lose.

you telling me, that after coding all the other GT series, that GT5 created so many bugs that its had to be delayed for like 3 years?

I'm not that bothered because i wont be buying a PS again, but it seems silly for something to be delayed SO long.

I was having to brake well before the 150 marker at the end of the 3 straights if I was to stop in time to make the corner. :( that's clearly where all the time has gone in my lap.

Now I know what I'll be doing today on my day off college :p Forget studying for my MCSA, I'm lapping Korea hahaha.

Brilliant lap Mr. F.

try smaller discs with harder pressure. although you will lock up a lot more. I gained 3 seconds at monaco this way.

I did that on Monaco and gained 3secs as well.
Haven't tried on Korea. I'll give it a go later on. Maybe Mr. F can tell us what he's using. ;)

Here is the Korea set i use.

Aerodynamics

Front Wing Angle: 4
Rear Wing Angle: 1

Braking

Balance: F 49% - R 51%
Pressure: High
Brake Size: Small

Balance

Ballast Distribution: F 80% - R 20%
Front Anti-roll Bar: 7
Rear Anti-roll Bar: 11

Suspension

Front Ride Height: 1
Rear Ride Height: 1
Front Spring Stiffness: 11
Rear Spring Stiffness: 10

Gearbox

Gear 1: 90 MPH
Gear 2: 111 MPH
Gear 3: 132 MPH
Gear 4: 153 MPH
Gear 5: 176 MPH
Gear 6: 200 MPH
Gear 7: 227 MPH

Engine

Throttle map: Standard
Fuel: N/A

Alignment

Camber front: -1.50
Camber rear: -3.50
Toe front: 0.15
Toe rear: 0.50

There is a bug ingame which screws up the fuel mapping so if you go with Fast throttle map on after so many restarts it resets itself so i prefer to change it once on track by the arrow keys

Well I fell prey to the corrupt data file. And I wish I read most of this thread to begin with lol. Didn't think it was cos of exiting the game after doing a Practice. Kinda sucks really. I was into my 2nd season, racing for McLaren.

Never mind, I've started again racing for Lotus this time. It sucks when you have to start all over again and the car just feels weird lol.

Hopefully I can make up ground again. Which I am. Still love this game a lot :D

Do you use this set up only for Korea or can it be used for other tracks? I'm guessing, obviously each track will be suited to a different set up.

Mr Fantastic, looking at that setup (I haven't tried it out)...do you not find that the car's back end is seriously loose? Or do you feel that it is well balanced?

I don't find the rear a problem tbh just depends on how you drive the car.

It can be used anywhere, all you need to do is adjust the gearing and downforce to each track.
