Just installed PC patch when i signed into Live.
Ok further observations from my previous post:
I pitted in front of quite a few cars which were directly behind me. New tyres were on while cars were still cruising down the pit lane so I had to sit there waiting for them to pass, this gave the cars further up the pits time to get out and join the back of the train which meant that by the time I got released I had lost 2-3 places. The "good" thing about this though was the Ferrari who pitted behind me also had to wait before getting released. When the train had passed I was released before the Ferrari which would have never happened before the patch. I was released right onto the gearbox of another car.
I didn't feel like the lollipop man could have let me go any faster because if he did then I would have undoubtedly hit a car on my way out. This situation would definitely have happened in real life if 15 out of 24 cars pitted at the same time. I think If its a straight fight between you and two other cars behind you, you will win.
Now I just need to try pitting from 1st with a few seconds lead over the rest to see how that compares.
Again like the last post I definitely think all cars pitted. No more Sauber/Force India/Virgin winning races by the looks of it so far

So the only way to get this patch is to log into Windows Live? wow feel sorry for the ones in other parts of the world where Live doesn't work etc..
It has happened. some can't login to GFWL so how they meant to patch this? Its all so laughable really...
what happened to the days when a patch was released and you downloaded it? Don't get me wrong, automation is cool but not when its THE only option.. lol
Anyhow, might fire up the PC version and take a look... Been playing the PS3 version more.. Only as a few mates were playing the PS3 version, which is Ok I guess but the PC graphics and mods are so much better...

Yup, no standing water on the track at all, but there is off the track. Only tried Australia and China. I'm guessing the rest are like this too

Right then,
As some of you might have realised the patch is now out via GFWL on PC and the game should automatically update when you boot it up. We'll be putting out a standalone version of the PC patch soon.
Full patch notes for all platforms are also in the works and will go up soon.

SPARC, my brother just told me he has the same problem.. (on max settings AA yadda yadda, he didnt tell me what tracks but 2 people having the same problem isnt a coincidence)
