Yeah Cavallino, that's from the setup in my sig, with a single 1GB HD4870.
I've just run the bench again after a reboot. Interestingly, the avg fps is now higher, and the minimum fps for ultra setting is now 36 where before it was 23
.
The Post Process setting in the games graphics tab will not stay on High, it, defaults to Medium. But it will stay on Ultra, so my benchmarks are with Ultra Post Processing for both my High and Ultra detail settings. Someone on racedepartment flagged the same issue and it's to do with the patch.
Bizzarely, I restarted and my results are
Average = 50, Min = 42 and Samples = 6228
But still dont get it, it should be considerably higher than your results considering Im running crossfire 5770s.

Edit: I think I'll run that benchmark tomorrow a few times when I have more time, but as of right now I'm off to watch the 1st ep of The Walking Dead
Didn't mean to worry you by the way, I'm sure the card will be fine.
I'll be honest I got some odd green speckles with Dx11 mode in metro 2033 and some sudden fps drops as well..
I too thought my 5870 was broken but it was just the game..
Strange stuff with DX11. Dirt 2 had odd dust floating around and I'm fairly sure your card is fine...
I've not got this patch yet, going to give it a go in a bit.. I'll let you know what my card does... Haven't played F1 2010 on the PC in a while, be a good time to give it a go...

Well absolutely, considering elmuzzy66 is apparently averaging 95fps on a single 5870. Btw, I knew a 5870 is better than mine but it seems to be more than twice as good as a 4870, according to his and my framerates.
Yes but I think that F1 2010 doesnt seem to like crossfire as much compared to single GPU cards.

Just tried it myself. Well I didn't notice any difference disabling Cat AI. The benchmark was actually a couple of frames per second lower but that's probably because it seems to fluctuate a bit from bench to bench rather than the Cat AI.

I think that was a dud run. I ran the benchmark after patching, i think settings were defalut. Ive posted another set of results avg65 min54, but had cat ai on advance,ultra settings @1920x1200 x8msaa

I want to know how this anti cheating system works because been trying todo a race online today but i keep getting kicked same goes for when hottlapping there is no warning the game finds if you are running anything illegal.
Was doing some TTing on Brazil about 20 minutes.... set a time around 4 tenths better then my original time but it's not appeared on the leaderboard.

Well, I can confirm that wet definitely feels wetter, was struggling to hold my Mercedes in Sao Paulo last night! AI much more ....non-linear now (in practise and quali, I had cars move out of the way to let me through)
Still an old issue with my wheel, I have saturation at 50% and linear thing at 45%. However, on full lock with my wheel (Driving Force GT), the steering wheel in game only turns 90% or so (which explained, for those that remember me going on about it, why I could never take the hairpin in Monaco.) Every time I boot the game, I have to go into these advanced options, change the saturation up a notch and back down to 50%, it then autosaves and everything is fine?!?!?!

lol impressive. Thats one heck of a quick virgin he's got there.... lol why do that? Its so blatent a cheat, idiot but best to just ignore them.... always going to have cheaters etc.

Man, I picked a good time to go to Hull for work lol. the patch is released and I cannot test it out until Friday night, when I get back to Newcastle. Lovely, just lovely. lol.
Good to see that there's a benchmark for it though. That'll come in handy to test on my i7 920 and 4870X2 rig.
But I wish I wasn't in Hull right now lol. On the plus side, some incredible amount of hot female totty to keep me amused
