How badly do you want it on your Steam account? Like someone else posted here, I would probably end up buying it in a steam sale anywayeven if I bought it from shopto. So cheaper to buy it on there straight away :)

The main thing that Im not happy with steam is, the time it unlocks.

6pm is half the day wasted.

Just because Steam is in the USA, should not mean we have to wait for them to wake up. lol

I'm in the same boat, the steam price seems fair actually, and I would prefer to have it on my steam account. But then again £7 is a decent saving so I'm not sure now.

I mentioned this a few pages back. I ended up getting it on Steam. :)

£7 is a good saving, but if you see yourself buying it again on Steam as soon as it's a tenner, you'd be better off getting it there in the first place.

Yep, that's the plan!

Also, while it may not unlock til 6pm....who cares?!?!? We got nearly 3 weeks to wait, another 10 hours (assuming your postman arrives at 7.30 and you have it installed by 8 and don't have work to go to) isn't gonna hurt anyone

Yeah but even if the postie arrived at noon. Thats still 6 hours of game play. Practice. lol

I gotta wait till after the 14th anyway, when my rents paid. :D

I guess that is a factor for some people, but I doubt I'll rebuy it really, I haven't rebought any games to have it on steam so far.

Plus a whole year of playing until the next one :p

Steam crew:

Assuming there will be some sort of pre-load thing going on, does anyone want an online race at 6.01pm (or there abouts) on the 24th September? I remember a forum user requesting they did this with Starcraft 2, so play online with equal cars and all aids off at a wet spa for a few laps....see what state the cars finish in!!

Would love too (if I get it on steam, but should that matter)

But kids dont go to bed till 7.30pm. So in RL 8.30 is the earliest I can get online.

whats the point of acheivements if theres a big list of what they are?

surely its better to earn them through normal play than specificly trying to earn one

Some developers are adding achievements so silly you can never achieve them unless you know what they are.

Not saying F1 2010 has those but just something to consider.

you've gotta be joking... there's millions of f1 fans in the uk alone.

I'm fully aware of how many F1 fans there are world-wide thank you, I am one after all.

When I said "small" title, I meant it purely in the context of Steam's releases. Even some large titles released through Steam have not done a preload. I suspected this would be the case with F1 2010. It appears I was wrong.
