I don't know why people are asking if their rigs can run it when the game can run on 360/ps3. Of course if you have better hardware than those consoles you're going to be able to run the game. Perhaps with a few settings turned down but still perfectly fine. I'ts the same engine as Dirt 2 with a few tweaks.

My PC is over 4 years old, which is why I asked.

Yeah Its annoying me a bit to,, and all this about quad cpus running games far better then duals, if your running a demanding game with a low-med spec gpu, then of course it will be slow all maxed out. But if your running a high clocked dual with a decent gpu, you wont have any probs running any of todays and future games.

It's not part of my rig. I was thinking of buying it as a cheap upgrade....;)

Well the 5770 will run it fine if pairing it with a 3.2ghz dual or higher and decent ammount of memory you might be able to max it out. Because a 5770 is faster then a gtx260 and apparently ppl say a 260 gives 33fps maxed out. So Id say you would get 40- 50fps with a 5770 going by that, if my working outs are right:p

Bump for those who haven't seen it:

Add yourself>>>****The OcUK Steam Names List****<<<Add yourself

Having gone through a bit of a trial period (during which everything seemed to work quite smoothly) I can now finally present the (mostly) working Steam Names List wherein you will find a list of people who use the steam platform for online gaming and (eventually) the games which they play.

For the moment the games which people can associate their name with are:

Left 4 Dead
Left 4 Dead 2
Team Fortress 2
Counter Strike: Source
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Now with added Bad Company 2 name column)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: World at War
Borderlands
Killing Floor
Worms Reloaded

Of course, there can be more games added over time, just mention which ones you feel are appropriate and I'll update the list.

There are some basic instructions after the jump but nothing too complicated. Let me know if you have any problems and I'll try and fix them as soon as I can.

Once you've added yourself be sure to add a few people from the list to your own friends list :)

This list is merely an amendment to others work so thanks is due to FrenchTart (the poster formerly known as Aekeron) and Z0mb1e for laying the groundwork.

I hope you'll find this useful,
Antar.

Add yourself>>>!!!SHINEY NEW GFWL OcUK LIST!!!<<<Add yourself

Whether it will be useful or not now is another matter but it only took a few minutes to knock up and can't do any harm.

Games currently on the list:

Bioshock 2
Dawn of War 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
Dirt 2
F1 2010

I've moved Dirt 2 onto the GFWL list as it really belongs there instead but don't fear, if you've added your name to the other list I've amended your details to the GFWL list.

Any other games which you feel need adding to the list just give me a shout and I'll sort it out.

Note: I've noticed a few issues opening up the googledocs in Opera since the latest Opera update but they work perfectly fine in IE8, Firefox and Chrome.

Can't believe my 5970 packed up its go to be rma and there is no way my backup card of a 8800gts 640 is going to cut it on this game.
