and Steam wins
so, looking at that info on hardware tests, i will be looking at ultra low settings? My screen res is 1680x1050.
X2 4400
2gig ram
8800GTX 768mb
I really need to upgrade dont i?
Hey Merlin and Nikaz, how you guys doing? yep still about, been watching and waiting for this game for quite sometime, now its upon us.
Give us a shout when you have TT action started.
VirtualR have posted some DirectX 11 preview shots and the article suggests the game can be forced to use DirectX 11 by tinkering with the title’s config file (ahead of the official patch).
It sure looks nice
Whats with the Low res decals
Surely on PC with the amount of memory at their disposal they could have some nice high resolution decals.
Someone asked a similar question on the official forum. You can look left & right but don't expect the mirrors to be much use as there supposedly useless as in real F1.Does anyone know if you can look left and right in the cockpit view?
I only race in cockpit view and i haven't seen anyone look in their mirrors whilst driving.
It could be a massive oversight if this is not included, as most racers out there allow you to look in both directions, and i don't want to use some regular rear view button.

Good to see you again mercyless. Not sure if I'll be in for the very start of potential TT action because I play quakelive every day, and that takes quite a lot of regular practise, but I will be there for sure. Looking forward to it.
Hopefully just?
"Again, keep in mind that this is not officially supported so there may be graphical bugs but it gives us a very good idea of what to expect once Codemasters’ official DirectX 11 patch will be available."
do you think i can max it out with my rig ? or will i need an upgrade ?
Will there be a free practise mode? Where the tracks are all empty and its over to you to just practise the track?
