How do you think i feel i currently have a machine that will barely run it in medium detail and im buying a new machine but i wont have it in time for when the game comes out, its going to be torture for me until i can buy the parts the week after release and then build it and get it all installed and ready.

Been itching to play this game ever since it was first announced.

What card do you guys feel based on what we know would do as a stop gap for me until mine gets sorted for this game, am guessing a 260gtx at 1920x1200 won't cut it.

I think codemasters have financial problems?, i mean even some of the cheapest pc games are available at most retail game shops.

it's almost certainly to stop re-sales or people borrowing a copy.

Can they not do the same sort of thing on consoles, is it a lack of local storage?

Anyone know whether you need an internet connection to activate this game?

I seriously hope not. I have a retail copy on pre-order but I'm gonna be offline for a few weeks but still want to play.

Btw.. who is the guy doing these F1 2010 clips anyway?

Also.. I just noticed that it automatically guides you in the pits. You have no control. Thats a bit crappy :(

Am I the only one who is a little bit worried that it seems easy to brake late on the inside line into a slow corner and overtake up to three cars in the process as they're all lining up behind one another to take the corner rather than looking to force their way through on the inside?

It is on the easiest setting (and with ABS and Traction Control by the look of it). Take a look at the videos on expert and there is no chance of this.

Does the AI actually do any defending? I have only seen them all take the racing line so far.

It looks pretty good, I'm just concerned about poor AI and a poor damage model making races predictable and dull.

There is a video around here (one of the VVV videos) on expert where Kubica defends hard. The AI is also pretty unforgiving if you make any mistakes. You all need to watch people racing on expert settings (like the VVV videos) and not the videos where they have it on easy.

Sorry to be a pain CR, but any chance you could link us to those expert videos?
