It will be fine,, we had all this about the quads being faster then the duals with BF2. I have no doubt that the quad are faster for BF2 but my 3870 with [email protected] runs BF2 really smooth at 1280x1024 all set to high and the same with gta4.

So I ask you this,, are high clocked duals really that much slower then quads for gaming, cos a lot of benches on the net use low clocked duals to make the quads far more superior at the same clockspeed.

So, seems like DX11 is there. But it has to be enabled through a text file and is quite buggy apparently. Looked at the screenshots closer and they look great, can't wait for the patch.
 
when playing online how much will the garage be involed. ie tweaking of the car,gears and aero.what will u be able to change to make the car better for the track u are on.or will it be very basic like dirt 2 type games?
 
I'm sorry, but.. that realy ****ing annoying voice of the guy who's supposed to be your race engineer is already annoying me. I've not even played the game yet.

I realy hope that can be changed or disabled :\

Looks great. Might have to get my wheel out again. I'm hoping the NFS Shift posse of Nikaz, inam22, Danswan, myself and others might get into Formula 1 time trial competition. Are any of you guys still about? :)

Yeah I'm still about Merlin, how are you mate?

I'm up for a time trial similar to the NFS Shift comp. I haven't played Shift since the comp ended, been keeping a close eye on this game though to get my driving fix again. Roll on next week.

Does anyone know if you can look left and right in the cockpit view?

I only race in cockpit view and i haven't seen anyone look in their mirrors whilst driving.

It could be a massive oversight if this is not included, as most racers out there allow you to look in both directions, and i don't want to use some regular rear view button.
