I hope the multiplayer is not ruined by rammers , 1 small clip and it can take out like 10 people from what ive seen on a youtube video .

this looks a mint game!

It does. I don't expect the single player career to have much depth but the driving aspect looks spot on for me and hopefully we can get something out of the online.

I bought this for the enjoyment but also to support the franchise in hope of a lot more depth in the coming years. I'm not a hardcore simmer and this franchise will always have to compromise due to the wide scope of the sport, so I think it's going to be spot on for most of us :)

Its only another 2 and a half days and it will be out! Patience young Skywalker.

yet another game thats now available to pirates (yes seriously its already been cracked) yet we have to wait 2 and a half days if we want to be legit

when will developers/publishers learn world wide release or expect high piracy

Im still using my formula force GP! Old school logitech device! So old, I had to buy a genric power brick to get FF as the old one pop a capacitor! :D

I have this racing wheel.

What operating system are you using it with?

From what I understand, it is not compatible with Vista or Win7.

Its a tough one really I suppose, many people who pirate dont do so because the release is 2.5 days later, many do it simply because they are tight ***** and want something for nothing.

One way to avoid piracy as a result of release dates would be to simply bring people up with the virtue of patience, but thats probably a lot more difficult than altering release dates and would require parents to be a damned site better at parenting than many are these days. :)

yea but i bet a lot of people planning to buy it wont bother if they can just download the game for free and not wait.

a lot of people wont care to much about playing it online and in 2.5days time could be finished with it anyway if its got the longetivity of most modern games.

it makes no sense to me that an english developer making a pretty english racing game (most formula one teams are based in england and a lot of the expertise comes from england) gets released in germany , america , egypt etc before we get it....

i dont understand why everyone cant just have it unlocked now

I agree 100%. They actually say release in Europe on the 23rd. Apart from the UK who gets it on the 24th, last I checked we were part of Europe, how times change. :p

True but then that sort of person would probably just download it for free instead of buying it regardless of the release date. Thats the I want I want person who just wants stuff for nothing. Low morals, bad parenting. People like you and I are more reasonable in our outlooks and are willing to pay for stuff and wait :)

Course its not just the game industry though, tv shows are delayed before being shown in one country from the next, films , books, music, almost any medium really I suppose.

yea obviously im a pirate my names robbie rotten....

yea some mediums have good reasons not movies though at cinemas :P

games which are turning to internet releases there is no real reason we cant get a world wide release if its english language its not like a game by an english developer has to be translated from american to english and thats why we have to wait 2.5days longer
