There's no rule to release games in Europe on Friday. The publisher decides the dates and that's that. Many games have worldwide releases on Tuesday, big and small releases. It's really just up to the publisher to decide the dates. The more publishers decide to go for a simultaneous worldwide release, the better and that's why we as customers should push the publishers towards changing their archaic system. Some customers probably don't care but a lot of us do care.

Also the other week NHL12 was released in Europe on Friday and in North America (where the big market for NHL12 is anyway) the following Tuesday so that's not out of the question either.

I know it is not a rule per say. But generally all game releases are released on a friday in the UK :)

It's retarded to make a region wait while another region has access to the game. Why do we have to do without?

There's absolutely no reason. It's ridiculous.

Is F1 even that popular in NA?

I thought their version of it was NASCAR (though higly boring on a track with only 2 bends).

Still unsure about getting this, pre-ordered it but.. some reviews suggest if you have F1 2010 then you really won't be getting anything new.

Im quickly loosing faith in this to be honest. The latest VVV video tests the race start with TC off and he was able to floor the throttle with no drama. As for the replays, well most people dont care about them but the arcadey camera shots really **** me off.

If you play MP 2010 becomes worthless once this releases, which is the problem. They are limiting the shelf life to a year and everyone seems happy to lap it up (pun intended).

Interesting lap times for Singapore, I'm sure they'll fix it...

....in F1 2012, yours for £40.

or 17.99 ;)

Not much for something that will no doubt give me hours more entertainment than a blu-ray. :)

I just find it silly that traction control is even being discussed. The sport hasn't had it since 2007. So why have it in a modern game. Nor has it had ABS since the early 90's.

Yes it's for the new comers but there should be a learning stage for that. Then you can't use driver aids online or time trials. The way it should be.
