How do you tell how much kers you got and if you can use drs in cockpit cam?

When you hold down the Kers button in cockpit view you will see the LCD on the wheel count down from 400 as you use it up.

You can tell When you can use DRS by the little green light on the wheel being on, when you activate DRS it flashes, when you next brake DRS automatically deactivates itself and the light goes back to being permanently lit or turned off if you are outside the DRS zone/further than one second behind car infront

Im annoyed with my two 5850's in crossfire im getting 40fps in benchmark at 1920x1080 all ultra with 2xaa

then in the race the garage stuttery as hell untill i go to desktop and then re open the game screen, i have even downloaded the latest crossfire profiles on amd's website.

I tried the benchmark in 1920x1080 all ultra 2xaa and it got 45fps max, 39fps min

2560x1440 all ultra 8xaa got 44fps max, 36fps min

What spec do you have? I think my Q6600 is limiting the fps going higher in lower settings, good job it works fine in max res, aa and settings

PaulC2K - My gpu usage went to just below 80% I think

I had a go o split screen, great fun. My housemate was winning all the way then i cut the last corner and won. ha ha

That s a shame but you cant really blame them. The change probably happened as they were going to print the discs! Hopefully a patch or mod will sort it though.

But imagine this: Xbox pad + No assists + DRS + Kers + Manual Gears (Now thats a challenge!).

Steering wheel the way to go for this one.

It's a driving game, it shouldn't be possible to be competitive on a pad or keys.

I'm buying this for my nephew's birthday with a Thrustmaster F430, I might install it and have a play with my G27 first though.

It looks like they have taken the spec of everything from the first race of the season. Even the Mclaren has the unpainted titanium diffuser which was only used for the first couple of races because they rushed it to the tracks from the factory

Playing this last night, definite improvement over 2010. The handling is so much more alive, and it's good to see a true speed difference between cars from front to back. I was genuinely 3-5 seconds off my Mclaren pace around Monza in an HRT and the general performance difference between the 2 cars was noticeable.

Looking tempting, since GTR3 looks as though it's been abandoned (prefer GT racing).

I assume F1 2011 has the newer Silverstone layout...?

Play still havent dispatched. last time i use them for anything. They used to be great but they have really got bad in my opinion. Everything seems to take ages to get to you.

No don't think so, I think this just makes people like yourself more suspicious in terms of whether the games are actually scripted or not. I think that is why they put in the race director though so you can see lap by lap as to where AI drivers finish, any potential accidents pitstops drive throughs etc etc.

I could care less to be honest, because the physics model is great fun.. I'm more about racing other people than AI. But I could see the Co-op championship being very fun indeed.
