Caved and bought it on Saturday, initial thoughts were it was a load of junk, but after spending a fair bit of time getting the wheel remotely drivable, realising that no matter what GFX settings you use, it still seems to get 30fps and barely hits 60% on GPU or CPU usage, and actually going out on track to try the game itself, it definitely feels like an improvement.
One thing i noticed very early on, via the benchmark, is that in the event of a traffic jam around Monaco, and things come to a halt, rather than there being a pile-up they simply drive straight through other cars.
Look far left, and theres 2 sets of tyres, one for d'Ambrosios Virgin you can just about see, and the other is someone else 'inside' him.
I suspect this isnt an issue elsewhere, but because the AI really seems to be horrible (watch a benchmark!) and that corner being chaos IRL anyway, this cheat seems to be used. It happens every other bench too, hardly a freak occurance. The first time i saw it it was very clear, and they just drove out like the other wasnt there and carried on regardless.
