Guys don't forget that being connected to a VPN means your internet speed will be dropped dramatically. It might be the reason why you have chew playing online. Personally i'm waiting till Friday before I play online.

Once you unlock F1 and go onto it just put steam in offline mode and turn off the VPN.

It uses GFWL for everything else.

WTF is DRS. I watch f1 sometimes and they always bleat on about it, I think it gives the cars a speed boost when they go through this designated zone on the track...

Do I have the right idea? How long has this been going on and why did they decide to use it?

Is it for safety purposes, the car can't reach max speed until it gets to a "safe" part of the track ie a straight section?

Does this game have this in it.

Yes it has it in and was implemented this season.

The certain areas of the track that allow drs is to allow for easier overtaking basically what it does is open the rear wing flaps to reduce drag and allow for a higher top speed, but results in lower downforce so be careful.

if your within 1 second behind a car you can use it. Yes its usually on a straight and occurs twice in one lap.

Basically it was to make overtaking more easier and "more entertaining for the viewers"

I have a f430 nice wheel and good pedals for the price. Haven't tried the DFGT to be able to compare but what stopped me from getting it over the f430 was the pedals that have been described as being like buttons because of the lack of travel and force required to use them.

Goates i want to know how to implement and configure the manettino switches... all racing games i have tried it doesnt work

f1 2010 didnt either.
