Well five races in with the Williams and two podiums, Vettel is nowhere to be seen and Massa seems to rule the roost.
Not sure I should be featuring on the podium whilst driving a Williams! I have it on hard with all aids off.
It's a step up from last years unfinished game, the AI and 'racing' is a marked improvement but there are still some quirks to the AI and handling model. I feel like I've got to push more now, make an effort to retain my position, whereas last year you could be sloppy and still come out on top even in a Lotus. The driving feels more 'fluid' if that makes sense.

Yeah, VPN's are bad mmmkay. I think I tried to connect to steam to many times and it blew up my account. Working now though!
What difficulty level are you playing on? Not a chance you're getting podiums with that on legendary.

The game unlocks in two hours and the wireless receiver on my xbox 360 controller has just gone kaput
These are known for going kaput. If you have a solder gun to hand you can fix it in 5 minutes. It's very easy to do, I did it for my friends unit.

How the hell do I get it to load full screen?? I've not changed any settings as it's loaded like this from the start.
My system is as follows:
i7 920 @ Stock
6 GB ram
5850 @ Stock - x2 (set to single card mode as I am already aware of the CrossFire issue) - Cat 11.5
1920x1200 16:10
Win 7 64bit

Ofcourse it is!!
You can get it into full screen by pressing Alt and Enter (thanks to petriodet in the console thread where I posted by mistake).
Ok thanks, have ordered a new one, hopefully get it on Saturday, until then its keyboard time
Yeah but how do you get it to load straight into full screen and avoid having to do that?
It's still playable (just).
I know that but its still annoying doing it every time it starts.
