Hi, wouldn't that no difference in fps when you switch from no AA to 8xAA prove you are cpu bound though ? Unless AA comes from free, which I doubt.
I ask you all to look at the game, it's not exactly taxing graphically, say compared to the track side detail of a game like Dirt 3 (Ego engine of course). Dirt 3 generally gives better performance, off-loading the relevant parts to the GPU and utilising the CPU cores properly. This game should be giving fps' in the 100s if you compare on graphics along with Dirt 3.
It should run better that it does on PC.
Something is seriously screwed with this game (although it is still good)
I tried in 8xQSAA (the one furthest to the right) and got 42fps average/35fps minimum
Then tried no AA and got 39fps average/31fps minimum!
During the menu and loading screens my GPU usage was at 100% with fans going crazy. During the benchmark, GPU usage is at ~40%
So here would be an ideal patch...
No crashes during load screens when in DX11 on Nvidia cards
A game that actually uses the GPU during the game, instead of the menu screens
Suspension / car setup 'hack' fixed
Corner cutting sorted out
Be able to set damage for split screen play
Better lobby for online play
I think the crashing during load screens is related to melting the gpu maybe (so instead it stops then cuts out to desktop, crashing the driver)?
I think Blizzard had this problem during the early beta stage of Starcraft 2...however this game isnt a beta
