If I hold down Del while booting it says at the bottom "Prepare to enter setup..." but then it does the DRAM error beep and does nothing. Tried the stick in all slots and it's the same for them all.
There's also a bit of text that appears in between the Main Pricessor: Intel... line and the mem test line:
"<CPUID: 06F6 Patch ID:0444>"
Not sure if that's supposed to be there or not?
Also turns out I have the F3 BIOS.
Anyone have any ideas?
have you entered the bios using the cheepy ram?then changed the voltage of the ram to 2.1?turned off pc then installed your performance ram?
