Take into consideration this is my first Intel build.

4.4ghz
CPU vcore 1.277
Dropped uncore to 32
Disabled the power saving c1 c3
I have set that setting to extreme vdroop or something

Managing to get into windows and running aida64 stability test now.

I only managed to be stable for 15min on aida64. I was wondering if i could try for 4.4ghz with increasing the voltage past 1.25v?.

My temps at 4.2ghz with 1.25v is only 56-57 maximium on aida64 stable, what do you think?.

If your temps aren't reaching 60C under stress then you can safely increase the voltage.

If you're getting 15 mins stable, I wouldn't be surprised if 1.265v is enough.

I have set Vcore to 1.3

4.6ghz No display
4.5ghz Rebooted
4.4ghz stress testing now

My temperature are on 60-62c max this seems really low for haswell ?.

You need to settle on a voltage or a clock to test against, not change them both at once - and a jump from 1.25 to 1.3 is too large really.

If 4.4GHz is fully stable at 1.3v, then drop the voltage little by little until it isn't.

I'm quite impressed with the board. I'm running at 4.5GHz with a voltage of 1.285v. I just ran a full Linux kernel compilation across all 4 cores (8 processes) - this is much better than prime95, as it runs the system in a much more realistic way. No issues at all with the compilation and temps didn't hit 60C. On my previous Maximus Gene, I needed around 1.31v to do this at 4.4GHz.

I'm experiencing booting issue with this motherboard - it keeps switching on then off on boot. I then unplug for a couple of seconds and then it boots into windows (not always).

Any ideas?
