Bah, I give up, at first the game wouldn't launch.
Now it launches but I get corrupt game data error

Installed Redux without any of the reshape files and didn't notice much difference for the size of the installation. The biggest thing I noticed was more interesting skies. So I decided too keep it for now and use my own sweet Fx/ENB combo as I didn't like any of the included reshade presets as much.
Need to figure out how to use my car mod packs which enhance the game tremendously.
I was getting that, had to reinstall from scratch and it then worked.

It's ok anyway, I usually only play online so I'll stick with just the ENB/Reshade, looks pretty good.

Anyone noticed memory leak problems since the windows update? I've tried all sorts to get rid of the problem, its just like GTA 4 again.
A forum post said to try dx10 but it made no difference to me, im gonna try reinstalling the game, but i figured i would ask on here if anyone else has had the same problem recently.

Nevermind, its not a GTA problem, its a windows problem. Loads of people are getting the same error after updating to windows anniversary. Annoyingly i just updated my windows boot stick to what i assume will be the anniversary version, so im gonna have to try get hold of the normal win 10 boot disk again now so i can reinstall windows.

Anyone up for some heists? I spent my last bit of money last night and need to earn some cash.
I haven't noticed it on my main rig but the PC in my livingroom crawls to a halt after a couple of hours gaming because DWM increases to 4GB, it even shut the game down one time because it was out of memory. Really an epic bug.
Is this the problem with DWM?

these updates are taking the **** tbh, i only play single player yet it makes me have all the DL's, i think its time for me to uninstall the whole thing and go play smth else
EDIT: done, gone, deleted, that last DL would have left me with just 13gb of space left on my drive.. back to 82gb free now

yeah running my pc on just a 128gb SSD was always going to come back to bite me
now the large capacity SSD's are dirt cheap il buy a big one and re-DL gta, il use this 128gb just for the O/S and essentials

Update's way better than I thought it would be - much more than just buying a bike! Especially content wise, there's been quite a few decent missions so far.
But the fact that the gangs/roles are not permanent however is really annoying.
