After 2 weeks without broadband after switching from BT to Sky
ive got to play Redux again and it crashed out seems the new patch broke it
After a bit of reading round I got it working though and it looks way better than it did before, Redux must not have been working properly before.
Now it is working properly, is there anyway to disable the ridiculously fast car handling? Cant find anyone else asking for it but on my install the sports cars are all lightning quick.
*edit* Got it working by moving the handling.meta from the vanillla to redux.
There is some hidden content for Halloween (I'm guessing) hidden in the DLC that can be seen via the trainer, looks pretty cool and some decent vehicles
I'm a bit confused between VisualV and Redux.
I've been reading that Redux is a wannabe mod that has 'stolen' mods from other people and essentially copied VisualV. Apparently the author of Redux is the same guy who made Pinnacle of V and closed it down due to accusations of stealing content also.
Also, Redux needs 60gb!!!! of HDD space to install whilst VisualV only requires ~60MB.
Which mod is better and what justifies the massive HDD requirement for Redux, does it do a lot more than VisualV?
After doing some googling on how to get this mod working, I finally got this mod to work for me with the Biker Update.
1. Reinstall your GTAV so you get a clean installation.
2. Follow the appropriate steps to install GTAV Redux including the Day 1 patch.
3. Go to your GTAV Directory/update/x64/dlcpacks/ copy the mpbiker folder and put that in to your mods folder.
4. Update your GTAV Script hook, the latest release was Oct 5, 2016 for version 1.0.877.1. You just have to copy and paste the dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll into your main GTAV directory.
5. You need to download this gameconfig patch which contains an updated gameconfig.xml which you use OpenIV to replace the xml file located at: GTAV / mods / update / update.rpf / common / data.
The file is located here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gameconfig-for-patch-1-0-757-2-update-at-each-r-update
I did not have to delete x64a or anything like that. I just did these exact steps and I am able to play GTA V Redux finally!
Anyone tried redux at 1440p on a 1070? How does it run?
Im playing at 1440 on 2x 980's SLI and it runs lovely, exact fps Im not sure, not tested it.
I dont have "everything" maxed but apart from a few things, the rest is on Very High/Ultra.
Visuals look awesome, so different to vanilla.
Ok mate lovely! Seems like one to try on my new card then! Will download the redux tnite, never modded gta so hope its fairly straight forward
