***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

Andy mk3 goes into work Tuesday looking like Snoop Dogg's apprentice. He notices 3 quarters of the male staff also look like Cheech and Chong wannabees.
Andy looks at one and says 'GTA?' they other guy nods and smiles, then Andy hears 'GTA' being whispered round the work place. Then they all go queue up for more coffee

Well I finally caved and bought it. Having £12 sitting in my Steam wallet swayed it for me I think. I'm really looking forward to it now :D

I just had a crisis. Imagine a followup to Vice City in the new engine. Crusing down the beach boulevard, neon shopfront reflections playing on the paintwork of your '80s styled Cheetah, all in glorious 4k.

Just finished the download, had a few problems with slow speeds but just closed the downloader and opened again and it flew back up to around 6mb.

Roll on midnight!

Nothing to be ashamed about. Everyone has something in their life that they're this excited about. For some it's this and for some it's something else.

Just thought I'd say, even though the game is like 60gb+, pirates have managed to have a 35gb version (loseless) exactly the same as the full file size. Seems to be lots of redundant files. No reason for this to be so large in size.

I wonder if GTA 4 can be ported to GTA V's updated engine. We then might get smoother fps, higher fidelity and built in AA support etc. Would be cool IMO.

Well you can use DSR for AA and fidelity i couldnt play it before and only started it two weeks ago as i had a xbox one controller and a 980 4770k rig. Blazed through the SP but crashed on the DLC due to GFWL sigh!!

Its great looking with DSR especially with a controller and 120hz also. So smooth pretty much 100fps all game long apart from open ocean. Not as good as i remember Vice City or SA so here is hoping GTA V is the best!

Considering the amount of time I put into modding GTA IV and giving advice for fellow modders, it's strange to thing the new GTA will look anywhere near as good. Give this a try if you're gagging to play in stunning quality.

Just been playing with mine all weekend, decided to drop Icenhancer 2.1/3.0 as the horrible washed out yellowish hue was doing my head in. Found a nice clean natrual look and modded the .ini files to suit my needs, really happy with how it's looking now.
