***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I bet they own one, otherwise why would he add three photos of it... Koeniggseg... naaa... Ferrari... naaaa.... 1967 Shelby Cobra.... hmmmm... OMG THERES A 308!!!

Do you think we could have a massive crew VS another massive crew? I'm part of a crew +5 GMT away from UK but they will be as large as OcUK and a good battle would be phenomenal.

Are the GTA V servers even capable of taking on such a massive clash online? Are there even game modes to do this, or servers that we could join independently?

Just having a look at the wiki as I've not played online at all, looks like max you can have on a server is 30 people.

30 people doesn't seem like much given how large the map is.

Heads up for those who are completely new to GTAV's single player campaigns. Most of the missions don't reward you too well in terms of cash as the game kind of wants you to use and exploit the stock market. Remember there's 2 markets - one in the single player campaign and a full live one for the online portion of the game. Stocks fluctuate in the single player campaign according to the players action during the course of the game, especially missions dished out by your tubby buddy Lester.

Tubby Lester provides the Franklin with Assassination missions. The first mission is mandatory. The remaining ones you should aim to save up right until end game (you'll have a lot of cash to invest by then) if you wish to make a TON of money. Upon playing the PS3 version on release I was always frustrated at how little money I did have whilst playing - it partially ruined my game as I felt I shouldn't have to play the stock market to obtain money.

The links below will basically reiterate what I have to say so take a look see if you are interested as you can then go about buying property and cars and basically enjoy your retirement!

It's today..IT'S FINALLY TODAY!

Decided I'm going in to work to sweet talk my boss and get tomorrow as a "career development day" i.e day working on my NVQ i.e day playing GTAV!!

How very annoying, went to bed with about 7 gb to download with 4 hours to go (yes i have very slow internet). Wake up to the social club saying 'retry'. Clicked retry and now I have 11 gb to download with 7 hours to go.

Steam, 4k, DS4, K & M.

Think I'm ready.

First person most of the time as they did a really good job of implementing it and with keyboard and mouse it will be insane i hope.

downloaded with Rockstar client last night

and all fine - perhaps most have now pre-loaded - seemed to be downloading at around 4.5-5mb/s - started it at 2am, and was all done by time I'd got up this morning

Got it downloaded last night via steam only took 50 mins :)

I take it the folder"depotcache" is the encrypted GTAV folder? does anyone know if it's possible to copy this folder to my sons PC so when he buys it today he won't have to download it again?
