***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I did post about it earlier. R* did mention it in their notes about the update too.

On the pause menu under game, choose upload save game. Then when you go in to enhanced game it will asked to if you want to use it.

Cheers, I'll have a look later on.

You have no saves uploaded. Please upload a save from GTAV Legacy.

AARRGGHHH

Did you upload the save?

Nope...updated the OG, no RT, looked on web...advice was to uninstall OG and install RT version.

Nothing said about uploading OG save, lol.

No worries, was only a few hours into the game anyway, only got back to it because of the RT.

No need to uninstall legacy. It's seperste so wont get in the way i kept it just incase I need to run it again for the save.

You can do the save game transfer manually from your old version. I uninstalled the legacy version before I installed the new one as I didn't realise it had this transfer feature in the game. Anyway....

Go to:

My Documents "Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\D5935A76" and copy the most recent "SSGTA500xx" file and the same BAK file. For me it was SGTA50015 and SGTA50015.bak.

Start a new game in the Enhanced edition so a profile is created and a save made, and then copy the above 2 files to:

My Documents "Rockstar Games\GTAV Enhanced\Profiles\D5935A76"

Job done.

Having played more of the game now and seeing different environments interior and exterior..... R* have absolutely nailed this RT implementation, dare I say one of the best to date, up there with likes of CP 2077 & metro. The city has such a different feel/look depending on weather, time of day and so on. Sunsets in particular look even better now due to how it looks on buildings and shadows being cast properly, photos and screenshots don't do it justice either as always with RT, it's in motion where it just looks and feels right when navigating around the environment:

And to have incredible performance too whilst keeping that artistic look  Feels like they are testing the foundations for GTA 6 with this update so hopefully it is going to be truly special (well hopefully and they don't **** it up ).

so you have to manually do tomfoolery to get the transformer model DLSS? like with dlss swapper maybe?
